With my first child use enfamil and I loved never had any problems. But I tried my new baby and the experience was not good. This milk instead of helping her with her vomiting problems has gotten worse. The milk does not dissolve well and many air bubbles form, it also compacts and becomes thick making it difficult to get out and pluck the suck of the bottle. I feel pity because I have always liked enfamil. I do not know what else I can try since my baby is very sensitive.

Comments about Mead Johnson Enfamil A.R. Infant Formula for Spit Up, Powder, 21.5 Ounce Reusable Tub:

I breastfed my baby for a month and decided to switch to formula. My pediatrician recommended Enfamil gentlease. We tried that for 2 weeks and it made my baby spit up a lot, was super gassy, and had a heard time going to the bathroom. She was diagnosed with reflux and put on Enfamil AR. after a week of being on it she stopped spitting up as much. She still spits up but in a normal range now. She seems to love the formula. She is still very gassy but doesn't have to strain as hard now when going to the bathroom since it has regulated in her system. The only issue I have is that it is hard to mix. I have finally figured out that I need to mix it in a separate bottle as hard as I can, wait 5 minutes and shake again. Then slowly poor it into another bottle for my daughter to eat from. Sometimes I even have to take a spoon and get the foam off the top. Other than that, this formula seems to be working great for my daughter. I wish there were more coupons available for it!

Comments about Mead Johnson Enfamil A.R. Infant Formula for Spit Up, Powder, 21.5 Ounce Reusable Tub:

We started with Enfamil newborn from the beginning, after the 2nd month our doctor gave us a sample can of the A.R. After just a few days we saw a reduction in spit up. Loved this product! However, in the last 2 weeks she has been spitting up quite a bit more with a appearance of curdled milk and she isn't putting more weight on.

Comments about Mead Johnson Enfamil A.R. Infant Formula for Spit Up, Powder, 21.5 Ounce Reusable Tub:

My 5 week old daughter was born with laryngomalatia(floppy larynx) and was getting really bad reflux and spitting up to the point where she was waking up in the middle of her naps and arching her back, and curling up into a ball after feedings from pain. I literally felt like I was poisoning my baby! After switching her to 4 different kinds of formula, her pediatrician suggested we try enfamil AR and after the first bottle there was an immediate difference( like night and day!) she was sleeping longer, no issues with spitting up after eating etc. this is the only formula that has worked and kept her content. I couldn't even go out to the grocery store without her crying from pain from the other formulas we tried but with AR she sleeps through the whole outing. The formula is thicker from the rice starch which is expected so you do need to use a faster flowing nipple. The only downside to this formula is that babygirl seems to struggle more when going Poo. I know constipation may be normal because of the rice as well so our pediatrician suggested we give 1ounce of apple or pear juice a day to help her flow easier. It has pre biotics added to help healthy digestion but it may help if enfamil looked into adding probiotics as well to this formula in the future to help with babies systems a little better.

Comments about Mead Johnson Enfamil A.R. Infant Formula for Spit Up, Powder, 21.5 Ounce Reusable Tub:

I usually don't leave reviews but I feel compelled to do so. My little girl has acid reflux. She was spitting up daily. We tried similac advanced, sensitive, soy, and then someone recommended ailmentum. After smelling and tasting the latter I was desperate to not have to feed her this.
Her pediatrician recommended enfamil ar, and it has been the best thing. She drinks every bottle, is hardly gassy at all, and sleeps like a champ. My recommendation for feeding is Dr. Browns bottles, size two nipples. Mix by rolling it between your hands (not shaking), let it sit for 5 min before feeding. Thank you enfamil for a healthy happy, baby girl! :)

Comments about Mead Johnson Enfamil A.R. Infant Formula for Spit Up, Powder, 21.5 Ounce Reusable Tub:

My first child I breastfed and then used Similac. With my second child I used Enfamil right away. He was hungry all the time, always crying, Spitting up a lot, Loosing too much weight in the first 3 weeks he was born, and that's when my pediatrician told me he had reflux and the regular Enfamil was too light for him so he recommended the A.R. and he dramatically changed. He started gaining weight, feeling fuller and not crying for a bottle every hour, and his spitting up didn't completely go away but it decreased greatly. I would definitely recommend for a fussy baby that spits up a lot. The only down side is the formula does smell very bad and he did get constipated at first, but once his stomach got used to the formula and he passed the constipation he's been doing so much better.

We have used the newborn formula on our baby since day one. I was breast feeding and supplementing at the same time but had to switch over to all formula for our baby. I thought I would give the AR formula a try since our baby was having issues with spitting up. I bought a huge container of it since it's was the only one the store carried. Tried her for a week on it and made things so much worse for her. Not only did she still spit up, but it got worse and also caused her to have extreme gas, fussiness and very bad diarrhea. Will not be using this formula ever again. Think I may need to switch all together.

This formula did not work for my little one. It caused her to be super constipated after just 2 days of use. We had to deal with it for almost a week (giving it time to work) however we had to switch after that. It was awful!
