My 3-year-old received this from "Santa" and instantly loved it! It's a great product for the price. I like the make-up because it is real, but it goes on very lightly! My daughter loves it and puts her make-up on with me as I put mine on.

I had expected it to be a little bigger. The nailpolish runs out quickly and there's no blush. I feel it was not worth [$]. Very little make-up is included and you can't really see it once applied. I got this for my niece because she loves playing with my make up but it wasn't what I had hoped for. It is also extremely hard to open.

I bought two of these for my daughter's Christmas gifts. Both of my girls love this set especially that it has a handle and lots of makeup they can use. The makeup is very nice quality and does not irritate my daughters' skin. They can take the brushes out themselves and apply the makeup by themselves as well. They love that the mirror lights up too! I did take the nail polish out of the cases shortly after they opened them.

Great fun for daughter once open

My daughter loves this toy but when I was first opening it the makeup is in these flimsy plastic containers and when I tried to carefully remove the tape securing it they started to tear. Since it only comes with one set of makeup in these custom, disposable, nonrefillable containers, I carefully snipped the tape with scissors. You can't peel it off with your fingernails so don't even try. Have an adult open the set with scissors before giving it to the child and there will be no tears (at least until the makeup's gone!)

My girls love the makeup kit. They have a blast pretending to be dressing up. The only negative is that the pieces are a little difficult to remove from the plastic insert (such as the brushes, lipsticks, nail polish). I spend a lot of time helping them to remove pieces from the plastic inserts. I wish it was a little easier for little kids to access all the pieces. But overall, it was a great gift; my girls love it!!
