The car seat is very easy to operate and move in an out of the base. The fabric and cushioning of the car seat is much better than the non Chicco brands. It also seems to offer more support to the baby. After doing the feel test on the others they felt hard in comparison. Overall I would rate this as a good quality car seat for the price.

I've used this car seat for our son since he was a newborn- a year ago. He still fits in it at 22lbs and 30" long and sleeps well in it on trips! It did get a little snug when he hit a super chubby stage at 9 months. Yes the fabric does get dirty and snag easy but I've run it through the wash and look great afterward. The sun shade is great- has an extended shade that helps block out sun.
We bought this seat because of the raving reviews from friends on their Chicco seats and we loved the extended weight range so hat we could use the seat for him longer. It's been a great seat and we highly recommend it!

We have yet to get our little bundle out of my belly and into the keyfit 30, but I absolutely love the carseat. After you get yours home you will quickly notice how hard and uncomfortable most other carseats look/feel. The color of the limonata is PERFECT, espcially if you're waiting to find out the gender! So far I am so happy with our purchase!

I would like to say positive and negative about this car seat. Some days we had change car with my mother, it was very easy to adjust and install, for me or for my husband just took 2-3 minutes. No very heavy, easy to hold, seems comfortable for my son up to 7 months, but now when he is going to car seat, he starts crying, up to this time when he get to car seat he was ready to follow a sleep. Also, we have UppaBaby stroller, this car seat very easy going on the base of that stroller. Negative: Colors in an internet are not the same as you see. The sun shade does not extend out enough to protect him. The fabric stains from rain drops!

This is a great car seat. Easy to install for my husband and I and grandparents can strap her in too! Baby seems very comfortable in the seat as well. Our only complaint is with the gray part of the fabric. It pulls very easily, almost like satin would. That is not a safety issue though:)Just remove baby's velcro shoes!

I love the chicco brand. I had a gray/ orange travel system with my daughter and I'm due in June with our second. With my daughters infant careat expiring in October we used babies r us trade in event to buy another chicco for our second child. I love the designs, the durability, and ease of use of the chicco infant seats. We still use the stroller after 4yrs and it has held up extremely well and I can't wait to use our new infant seat in a few months!!!!! I also am a CPST and there are alot of seats I see and install and chicco is definitely one of the easiest to use. I would and have reccommended this brand to others.

This car seat is wonderful for safety!!! my twins were premature and had to pass car seat test before leaving NICU. the nurses even stated that these were the best car seats made!! Very easy to adjust straps, babies seemed very comfortable and well supported!! the only complaints i have is that im 5'1 and these are very heavy even without a child in it ( but i think all seats would be heavy to me) and thatit doesnt have the cutouts on the bottom to fit a shopping cart.....you have to put it in the actual cart to be sure of safety!!! they really need to make this change!!!

After trying several infant car seats, I chose the KeyFit 30, and I'm glad I did. It installs easily, the buckles are easy to use and are metal, not plastic, like some other car seats, and feels a lot sturdier than some other infant seats I've used. My son got too tall for it before he got too heavy--I wish Chicco made a convertible car seat,too!

We got this car seat last year before our little girl was born in March during the trade in event. for the first couple of months the only thing that would make our very laid back 3rd baby cry was this car seat. it seemed that no adjustments i could make could make her happier in it. we put her into our sons boulevard, no more crying constantly in the car seat. however, we moved her back into it after i got it back from my sister as her feet were touching the back of the van seat in the boulevard already (and she's petite to boot) and this gave her more room. now she loves the car seat. it's easier to get her out of the car seat while it's attached to the base as it's lower. the adjusting of the straps is easy, tightening and loosening is a breeze. she still has months in this infant carrier height wise, as well as weight. she's a petite little girl. it's nice to rock her back to sleep if she stirs a little bit. installation is a breeze with latch, the level is wonderful it's heavy with a 10month old in it, but it was heavy when she was only 7lbs! i'm just not a carrier car seat mama. however my friend is going to borrow this one in july for her little one. the limonata is a little green-y in tone versus straight yellow, but good to be a neutral.

it will be great when she has her little one as her first was only 5lbs and the infant support will be wonderful. it won't click onto a cart so you either have to take the infant out of the car seat all together or put the baby in the basket part of the cart, which leaves no room for groceries. plus you aren't supposed to put baby on top of the cart in the car seat anyway.
