I purchased one of these as part of the Tangled Gift pack for Leapster Explorer. In the picture it looked like it was fabric, so I was pleasantly surprised when, upon receiving the package, I discovered it was a nice, bright, shiny vinyl. The vinyl is thick, can be wiped clean, and should hold up better than fabric. It also has a cute flower design on the reverse side that is not shown in the pictures. It's cute and spacious enough to be used as a purse when not holding a Leapster.

Wouldn't buy it again

To me, it looked like it was a fabric case. It's not, it's plastic vinyl or something. I'm waiting for my daughter to snag it on something and then the tears will start rolling!
Also, the description says it holds 5 games but there are only slots for 3 games. And it's a really snug fit. I almost hate to let her put them in there because you kind of have to pull that elastic-y part out and slide the game down there and I can't see it doing anything good for the metal contacts on the cartridge.
You could put a couple more games in the net part at the bottom but they'll just be flopping around in there.
Anyway, my daughter likes it and it is cute and girly. I just don't think it's worth the price at all and I don't see it holding up for long (velcro is already starting to loose some of it's hold) and thankfully she only has 3 games so far so she doesn't have to worry about where to put the rest of them.

I purchased this handbag for my granddaughter. She is 6 yrs. old. She loves it! I would of liked it to be a little bigger but it works great for her to carry her Leapster Explorer, adapter and a few game cartridges. I would recommend this bag to anyone. If they would like to have a bag that they would like to contain all their Leapster products then they should go for something bigger like the book bag.

I bought this for my granddaughter who is 6 yrs. old. She loves it! I was also pleased with it. The only thing is that you can't carry everything you would like. I would of liked it if it was a little bigger She can carry her leapster and a few games and if you organize it right you can also put the adapter in the handbag

I brought this item because it looked real girly and my granddaughter loves to carry a pocket book for all the things she travels with when riding with her mom. She loves her lepster explorer. I knew when I saw this carrying case she would love it. I sent the case to her as a gift for her lepster explorer and her and mom loved it. Mom said it has enough room inside for games, etc.

Very cute & functional. Only complaint is that we have the older leapster & it barely fits & the inner velcro strap doesn't fit. The description says it fets all models but it doesn't really. Other than it is a wonderful product & makes it easy for our 4 year to keep things organized.
