We purchased this for my daughter to use in her room. My daughter and I were actually pretty excited to set it up and turn the "stars" on. It worked well the first week or so. Then the stars/light stopped working. I exchanged it at BRU for a new one. Fortunately, the exchange/return policy was okay. The second one poured water out of the bottom and all over the carpet after two nights of use. I had use the carpet shampooer to suction the water, clean the carpet, and use a big fan to dry it as well. It took awhile to dry too for some reason. We thought we would try getting a new one, one more time. We exchanged it for a THIRD one. We didn't use it right away, as we didn't need it. The first time we went to use it, it leaked and did the same thing as the last time...poured water all over the carpet. It ended up being the little stick that springs up and down in the bottom of the tank that allows the water to drip to the bottom and then be "humidified" into the room that was culprit. It would just push up and stay up.

The only "pros" were:
nice lights/stars with rotating colors
water lasted all night and then some..probably 1.5 nights worth. If you look at the manual you are supposed to refill with fresh water daily anyways.

We ended up bucking up and spending the money on the Vicks Pure Mist Humidifier that is the Tower Humidifier and have LOVED it.

We used this in a 13x15 room and 11x13 room with no problem with humidification.

If this wouldn't have been so faulty or if VICKS could fix that one problem with the tank, I would recommend this and still own it.

This is a great item for babies or adults. We bought it for our newborn to help keep the air circulation in the room. The noise is nice for white noise and there are two settings, higher and lower. I keep it on low so I can hear the baby better and high during the day when my husband sleeps to help block noise. We bought another one to keep one in her room and one in ours. It helps in the winter with nose bleeds and allergies. It is a great night light also.

After reading reviews I was hesitant to buy this humidifer, however I did so anyway. I have no complaints. I love the stars, you can have them on without the humidifer on, you can have them off or you can have them both on at the same time. It also works great for my kid's room, we are able to fill it up and use it two nights with one full tank. Flipping the filter isn't a big deal (I read a lot of complaints about that) and ours doesn't leak at all. It makes my children's coughing stop and I LOVE that you can put the Vicks pads right into it instead of having to have the wall plug that we were always using. My only concern is a couple people saying it only lasted a month or two but I am keeping the box just in case and will contact them if I have a problem. I was hesitant because of the price as well but I love everything about it and am extremely happy with our purchase. Would definitely reccommend!

I really liked the product, and the stars are great, after reading the reviews i laughed cause i thought they were not bright enough I still had to turn his nightlght on the see him. I didnt get it for the lights though and love that the water lasted all nigh and that i could feel the difference in the air even in the front room, though his room is at the end of the hall. The reason it didnt get five stars is because the air is so cold, i would have liked it to be a bit warmer.

Got this 50% off on Black Friday and it still went back. My biggest gripe is that the vapor comes out the front instead of the top and it drinks a large amount of water. It was empty every morning! Dispite all of the water lost you would think it would do a good job but I did not see or feel a difference in the morning (baby and I sleep together). The light is way to bright. Neither baby nor I could get any sleep with it on. After returning it I got the cow humidifer; like I had for four years before my hubby dropped it.

Like the previous reviewer, this humidifier also stopped working after two months. The water began leaking out and flooding the top of my sons' dresser. Also, mold developed all over the filter.

Stopped working after only 2 months and grew black mold which is extremely toxic. I cleaned regularly and changed filter.

I love this humidifier! I got it when my son got sick and still use it everynight. The nightlight is perfect so I can see during middle of the night feedings and the sound it makes creates the perfect amount of white noise. I notice a difference when I sleep now using this so I'm sure my son appriecites it too.
