I didn't have any problems getting it to stick to the wall. I wiped the wall off and let it dry before applying the adhesive. I only needed enough to go from behind the crib up to the video monitor on the wall, so these were more than enough for me. If you need it to stretch 20 feet around a room, yes it will be costly. But for a small area (~2ft) it's just what I needed.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

does the job, but you can get twice as much footage, for half the price at your local hardware store.
