Comments about Safety 1st TV Button Shield:

I was so happy to find this! My almost two year old is obsessed with pressing buttons! When I opened the package and started reading the directions I noticed the protective cover had to be fastened to the tv with fasteners (on the directions it said they were included)-well they weren't!! So basically this was no help! I realize it could have just been THIS box, however this was extremely inconvenient due to the fact that I had thrown away the receipt!

Comments about Safety 1st TV Button Shield:

i purchased one of these several months ago and put it on 1/2 of the tv buttons (namely the power button which was proving too tempting). my toddler has since then taken to pushing the uncovered 1/2 of buttons, along with the dvd player buttons. i purchased two more of these, put them on and within 20 seconds, she had the new one off and within another 5 seconds, she had the old one off. the inside of the stickies are velcro, which doesn't prove to be much of a challenge for my toddler. and now, i have velcroed stickies all across the front of my tv and a toddler incessantly pushing buttons. these, unfortunately, proved to be a total waste of my money. i think it comes down to the type of tv one has, which will make or break this product.

My son would not stop touching the buttons on the side of the tv. We used this device, and what a life saver. We can now watch tv w/o him changing the channel every 2 seconds.... we are buying another one tomorrow for our cable box.

It took less than 60 seconds for my son to rip the thing off. So now the game is no longer pushing the buttons but how many times he can rip off the cover. The sticky's they provided didn't even stick. I grabbed my own 3M stick tape and now it takes him 90 seconds. Don't waste your money!
