I loved this kit. It had everything I needed to start off my baby proofing process. It's a wonderful starter kit! Btw it's totally not parent-proof: easy for us, but not for our babies. My baby is a rambuctious child who will get his way into anything, and this kit definitely keeps him safe.

My husband brought this kit home and we have used every part of it. It's got a lot of pieces for a good price. I've used the door latches on our cabinets and even dressers.
As for the outlet covers, my 12 month old cannot remove them and he has very prying fingers.

Great buy.

The cabinet locks work great and are fairly easy to install but the outlet covers are very easy to get out. My 15 month old removed them and handed them to me to say "look what I can do". Not helpful since this is the age when they would be likely to stick something in an outlet. Buy the ones that are tougher to get out or get a switch plate cover. Do not buy these!

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
