Product was very cheaply made and only runs on batteries! My daughter was very excited to recieve it but once we discovered that is was battery only and you could hardly see the display, we returned it. Not recommended. I wouldn't even spend $5 on this product.

Agree with the above review. My daughter also asked for the alarm clock for christmas. And we were also extremely disappointed in the product, especially since it runs on batteries alone!! She specifically wanted a clock that she could roll over and look at if she woke up in the middle of the night. That is not possible, since the numbers don't light up at all, and are barely visible to the naked eye in the daytime hours. I would not recommend spending the [$] on this product...definately not worth it. Since christmas, I have had to purchase another alarm clock.

My daughter asked for a Barbie clock from Santa and we were very excited when we found this one at TRU. After taking it out of the box the excitement pretty much ended. I was surprised to see that a 'projection' clock had no cord and ran strictly off of 4 'AA' batteries... but that is because the actual clock is nothing more than a slightly larger digital watch face with black digits & a grey background. It's virtually impossible to see unless you are 1) close to it, and 2) the room is fully lit.

Yes, there is a 'projection clock'... and when it is projecting it actually shows up quite nicely on the ceiling... however, you need to push a button to activate the projection - and it only projects for about 20 seconds. Needless to say, if the room isn't lit, it's hard to see the button you have to push to project the clock you can't see unless it's projecting. You also can't adjust the image on the ceiling without rotating or angling the entire clock.

It is also light weight and the buttons are stiff - which is not a big deal except 60% of the buttons are on the front of the clock and if you don't want to push the clock back when pushing those buttons you'll need to use two hands.

The FM radio is along the lines of the rest of the clock.. not great.

I will give kudos to the image of Barbie that shows up in the mirror on the clock - that was quite cool and actually looked better than I thought it would... unfortunately the rest of the clock is subpar and I'm hoping to return it and replace it with something that is a more functional clock and less a cheap child's toy.
