We bought this as a temporary crib for our first born, as we had to travel and move around quite a lot with him as young baby. We ended up with this being his only bed until now- he is 22 Months old- and counting. The product is amazingly solid and resistant. Our son slept in the upper bassinet part from 1Mo to about 4.5 Mo old, then we bought a good matress and put him to sleep on the bottom level. He sleeps in it very well, and through the time he also rolled, climbed, crawled, walked and jumped in it- everything that a baby could do. I never imagined that the mesh sides will be so resistant- in 22 months of intensive use not a tear, not a flaw, nothing. We also carried this crib across Europe, by car and plane, so it has endured many foldings and unfoldings- it all went very well and reasonably easy every time. The fold-over changer is very good,we used it until about 3 Mo. the tray and the pockets are very useful and well-made. the only things less than great that I could think of is 1) the mobile has rather dull colors and we had to buy another one, with more vivd colors,movement and music ( however our son played a lot with each of the 3 soft toys,separately) 2) the sounds-and-music player was useless to us, as the baby was not at all impressed- reading soothed- by it. He was happier with me singing or the radio, so we gave it up.
In short- great, great product, one of the best things we ever spent money on.

The attached diaper changing table broke immediately. The mobile fell off every other hour.Really bummed on the entire Carter's set (bouncer, pack n play & Swing)

Cute but don't let it fool you! after installing it, we decided to undo it to take it on vacations with us. Once we took it out of the bag again, it wouldn't click back into place on one side. We were very careful but that wasn't enough. I stored it and recently tried to set it up again and now 2 sides dont click into place! No way of fixing it either. I tried. This item should be recalled.

We are new parents, we picked this particular model for some reason... boy do i wish I could go back and repick it. I have been dissatisfied since we brought our baby home. For starters, the diaper holder that attaches to the side only lasted a few weeks before falling off and becoming useless, it is only taped via double sided tape to the holder that clips on to side. Next the changer does not sit level on the play yard. The side closest to the Play yard is lower and therefore the baby rolls to one side. Its pretty annoying! 4 months into parent hood we needed to move the thing into our room. I am not able to collapse the side rails to fit it through the door way. I am a 35 year old male landscaper. I am pretty good at figuring things out. I can not figure this out, neither can my wife. I do not know how a mother by herself watching an infant is expected to close and store this contraption. I would recommend skipping over this unit and not wasting your time or money on this product. There HAS to be a better one out there.

I was very excited to buy this play yard. I was very disappointed. For the expensive price buy yourself a Chicco or Graco which are better quality. The changing tray for the baby made my baby completely fall to the side. My husband made sure it was properly installed but I see many other people complaining about the same issue. Apparently it is a common issue. My baby was 8 pounds at the time and would slide to the side of the changing tray. The changing tray is small compared to other changing trays. The Internet shows it a pretty soft pink color. It has stronger intense colors. My baby cries every time I put her in the play yard. However, when she is in the $50 play yard my parents have and my day care has she is happy. The strong colors seem to make my baby uncomfortable. The top section of the play yard wobbles when baby moves and the bottom of the play yard is very hard. For what we paid for this play yard we are very disappointed. Don't waste your money on this expensive play yard. The quality stinks for the exorbitant price.

Used this for my baby when he was first born for about a week before we got a smaller side sleeper. Went to take it out again for the first time and one of the side rails was broken. It's been sitting in a closet for over 8 months and if it broke when we put it away last time, how is it going to withstand the abuse when traveling. The answer is it wouldn't! So buy this if you only need to use it once. Otherwise, maybe you should pass.

The diaper holder is attached with 2 sided tape that came off and was not able to stay on again. the Mattress is very thin and hard, dont really like the idea of having my baby sleep on a hard wood. The re-packaging of all the pieces back into the travel cover is hard to fit it all. Otherwise a pretty design that fits my decor.

The changer is useless as it has a major tilt to one side and my newborn son always roles over on his side - very frustrating considering this could have been easily fixed with slightly longer metal bars that prop it up. Also, it could be a choking hazard as an unattended newborn could easily role over on their side and get trapped in the plastic vinyl material that isn't breathable.

The product also had a bad smell, some off-gassing of sorts.

Overall, it is disappointing to buy a product that has three major functions and one of them doesn't deliver.

This product is great! We are so happy that we chose this. Our daughter (now 3 mos old) slept in this playard and her bassinet when she was a newborn. She just loved looking up at the mobile and listening to the music.
