This radio/boombox looked like the perfect thing for a 10 year old. My son loved it but after one day the C/D player quit working. I exchanged it and after a couple of weeks the c/d player quit again. This time store wasn't so great about exhange:(. Third one was not the charmer this time radio wouldn't tune so returned for refund. My son is totally disenchanted with this thing and I am totally done with any product made by this company. My son never dropped, banged around or was any way abusive of this product. They are just defective right out of the box.

My son absolutely adores Sonic the Hedgehog, so for his 7th birthday we had a huge Sonic the Hedgehog theme, and bought out the sonic section.
He opened this CD player and was just ecstatic.

It felt kind of cheap, but it worked and that's all that mattered, until it broke 2 months later.
No receipt no exchange. Waste of money.
It was used about an hour a day. Never dropped, not left on for long periods of time, not abused or over used in any way. (The CD player part broke. Radio never really came in clearly.)

My son is very sad that it's broken, but we are unwilling to buy another one

Bought this for one of my sons for Christmas and had to return it 3 days after Christmas because one of the buttons broke. The whole thing was very flimsy and definitely would not have held up for long. Paid way too much for something of such poor quality. Took it back and got a hot wheels one, which is so much better and saved me $10!

Bought this for my son's 6th birthday and it broke on the same day. It looked great with bold colors. From first use you could however see that it is very poor quality. The cd lid is very flimsy and makes a creaking noise when you open or close it. Looks and feels like it will break easily. The player had no problem reading any of the cd's we tried. The sound quality was good. My husband pressed the "mode" button and it broke. It got stuck in a pushed in position. I have since returned the product and asked for a refund. I expected more for the price.

It does not play the CD's they wobble around. We are waiting for a shipper to send it back ... we will see on the second one.

It's a nice gift for a small child. I wouldn't spend over [$] for it. Some of the CDs wouldn't plsy which we knew worked in other CD players.

I think this is wonderful. I got it for my 9 yrs old son for his Christmas present and I know he is going to love it. It plays loud if you want it to be loud and the radio stations can be found easily. I can finally get them off my stuff.

My 6 year old son got this for his birthday, and it works just fine. Very simple for him to use by himself.
Plays the radio fine, plays cd's fine, very lightweight. Couldn't ask for a better cd player for my son.
