My daughter used Avent bottles and we had no problem switching to their sippy cups. It seemed to be the only one she could get anything out of. However, it didn't take long for these to ruin my diaper bag, my daughters sheets and clothes. They leak over time. My daughter is moving around now so I need something that she can hold that won't be messy in the car, store, or around the house.

my son doesn't like the spout it came with but I use this cup with a nipple and he's holding it! I love the fact that he is learning how to hold the bottle and I can change the handles to the larger bottles too. My son is now 7 months

When I used the bottle nipple it worked great and I just tried the sippy feature and it leaked when I tipped in upside down or shook it to mix the formula and water! Very upset that it did this! What a mess it made and I didn't get much use out of it to use it as a sippy cup!

You have to make sure the cup is tilted like a bottle or you wont get anything. I had to try drinking from it myself to figure out why she wasnt getting anything. I often hold her in my lap as if i was feeding her a bottle and it works great shencan even hold it herself and it only leaks when she blows air into it. There is a simple disk that can be removed that makes it free flow, imdo that when she is siting in her chair.

I purchased this cup for my daughter when she was around 7 months old. This is my 2nd child and have used MANY sippy cups (never avent). I originally purchased another brand, but my daughter could not seem to get the water out. I gave this cup a try & fell in love! My daughter prefers to use it w/out the handles & never had any trouble getting the water out. I love that it has a lid and is very small & compact (w/out handles). I never had an issue with it leaking however once I put formula in it and it leaked out of the top. The best thing is, if you use avent bottles you can purchase the sippy spouts and replace the nipples with the spouts! Great starter cups!

My 6 month old really wanted to drink when we were. He uses Avent bottles and I tried some regular sippy cups with just some water in it but they seemed to big and heavy for him to use. This is the perfect size. He's just learning to get water out of it but the size and handle are perfect for him to keep hold of for a long time. No leaking that I have seen.
