Cute but not quite what I was expecting. I have the "Jack" baby book by c.r. gibson that I bought 2 years ago for my son and was expecting this to be the same basic thing. The pages are not quite the same quality, and the topics are not as detailed for each month. There is just a space to write the events, it doesn't prompt you to write in specific things. Overall it is cute, but not as high a quality as other c.r. gibson books.

Love this book! Fits in so nicely with my little girl's stuff. I have not had any trouble with ink bleeding through any of the pages like a previous reviewer mentioned... I use a soft tipped black artist pen, NOT a sharpie which of course would be a terrible choice for anything thinner than cardstock because they do have such heavy flowing ink. The pages in this book are of very good, fairly thick quality. Pages are a little glossy, which is great for smoother looking handwriting, and it is very nicely decorated throughout with a fair number of good suggestions. I will say, however, that it is a bit on the pricey side, which is the ONLY reason I knocked off a star. Well worth it if you use it to the full though.

This book is really nice for giving you ideas of what to write down and what you're going to want to remember later. I think the design is really cute - especially because my nursery theme was birds! The only problem I had with it, which was no big deal, was that the bow on the front of the book fell off when I pulled it out of the box the first time. Didn't really matter to me, since you can't tell it was there in the first place.

I think that the book is absolutely adorable and was great at giving me ideas about what I would want write down to remember later. I almost didn't even register for one because I make a lot of photo books online and figured I'd just do that for our baby, but this made me think of things I never would have otherwise. The bow that was glued to the ribbon on the front cover fell off the moment I pulled it out of the box, but that didn't really bother me. Other than that, I have had no trouble writing in the book with pen. It hasn't bled through or shown on the opposite page, so I'm not sure what that was about. Overall, a great book!

This is a good and thorough memory book with cute graphics. It serves it's purpose. I have bought Gibson memory books before and am always pleased. They hold up well with time, too.

This book is so cute and I love the layout. One big problem if you use anything other than a pencil to fill in the pages it shows through on the opposite page. Of course you are going to use pen or a colored fine tip sharpie! What person uses pencil? I filled out two pages and had to throw it in the trash. Don't waste your money.
