    My 5 year old and 7 year old love these! They both found great joy in excavating the rocks. It was very exciting to find one and then dig it free. The toy is a one time use toy, but if you are like us, you can find a few and then go back for the last couple later in the day. I used a cookie sheet to contain the mess.
    I would recommend and buy as a gift for others.

      I got four of these for all the kids in our household, ages 8,6,5, and 4. They all love it, but it is definitely dusty... gets in all the cracks. I don't mind though- it's easy to clean. We have been able to use it over a period of about two weeks- they will dig a rock out here and there. It's also a great price. Our four year old has a little trouble, but it's a good project to do together anyway.
