I love that these collect the clippings inside so you don't have to worry about them getting all over the place. The light is very convenient when using in the dark. I even use these on myself. I've been using them since my son was born almost 3 years ago and now with another one on the way, I plan on getting another set to always keep in the diaper bag.

These work great. The light definitely helps and turns off by itself. I have had the same pair since my daughter was born in March 09' and they still work perfectly.

Don't waste your money on these.

I've had three of these and spent more in gas then I should have. The first didn't last 3 months before the arm snapped off - not at the joint either, but right in the middle. (I thought this was made of metal??) I went back to buy a second, as I did like the feel of it, and thought the handle snapping was a fluke. The seconds blades didn't line up equally so it didn't clip the nail. I took the second back to exchange for a third... the thirds blades didn't line up either. I want my money back for all the gas it cost me in returns/exchanges. They really should test these items before packaging and releasing them for sale. There is no quality or pride in anything made anymore.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This is an awesome nail clipper! Having the little light on it makes it so easy to clip my baby's nails even in the dark when she is sleeping (which is the best time to clip her nails).

I purchased this nail clipper because it came with a light. However, the light was constantly on because the handle would not stay down unless rubberbanded together. Although annoying, I stuck with it until finally the metal piece holding the handle together came loose and I was unable to use it anymore. It lasted me a total of 16 months. These 2 issues need to be fixed before I waste another [$] on a new nail clipper.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
