    I bought this because my laptop lost its rubber grips (on the bottom) and was slipping around everywhere when I used it with my lap desk. I placed this mat on the lap desk and now my laptop sits very securely and does not budge, even when I tilt the lap desk.

    Securing a laptop is not the purpose for which this mat was designed, but hopefully that gives others ideas and demonstrates how versatile this product is. No matter why you need a slip-resistant mat, this is a good product. Nice color and texture too.

      i have used this as a mat and it orks geat every thing stays in place Also i have brought it to grandmas where she has and old fashion wooden chair and put it under her to sit on and no more sliding baby i really love it
