This is a really great toy! My son loves playing construction and the tool belt is really neat because it actually holds most of the accessories in! The toy is definitely for kids 3 & up; we bought it for my 2.5 year old son and the belt falls off his waist occasionally. I did have one problem with this toy though; the batteries that the flash light and walkie-talkie use are the small round ones (think watches). It would've definitely been better had they been AAA or AA. Other than that it's a really great buy!

Cute toys, but sort of more baby-ish than I was expecting. Bought these for 4 and 5 year old boys, and was a bit disappointed in the quality of the cheap, lightweight plastic tools and the hard hat was a bit small. The tool belt was nice though, but you might want to get more realistic tools if you buy this. They play with their sets, but mostly just the hard hat, safety goggles (also a bit small) and tool belt. The cheap hammer is at the bottom of their toy box as is the rest of the tools... only a week after getting them, they are forgotten. More suited for a 2-3 year old in my opinion.

There are very few things that are good about this product. I bought this for my grand-daughters (3 and 5). The construction helmet is very sturdy but will not stay on a child's head. After attaching the "lamp" the helmet tilts to one side because of the added weight. If the child moves the helmet falls off. The light itself is hard for a 3 year old to turn on. The plastic eye glass part in the "safety goggles" comes out every time the child tries to put them on.
The tool belt and limited tools are probably the only good parts of this toy. The quality of these items is decent and they fit in the belt satisfactorily.

i bought the workbench at a consignment shop. Then went to toys r us to buy accessories. Our nephew loves it. Spends hours playing with it. Need to buy other accessories. just wish we could get more wood and nails, screws, and bolts. any advise where to get those items would be greatly appreciated. just don't know which item to buy next.

The lack of the helmet strap makes this product difficult to use, especially for smaller children. The overall quality of the product is ok, however the tool belt itself is not designed for slimmer children. Flashlight switch difficult and unreliable.
