It took my hubby less than five minutes to put together but you will need a screwdriver and batteries! The music is really cute and my 9 moth old likes to stand up with the elephant! The only thing that was a problem was that the balls sometimes got stuck on the ramp. Now this didn't hinder my 9 month old but I think it did lead to less enthusiasm on his part. Now my 2 year old loves this and doesn't mind that the balls get stuck - she likes to find where they end up so if they get stuck she just pushes them out.

I received the product for free and this review reflects my honest opinions, findings, beliefs or experiences in regard to the product.
My 12-month-old has had a lot of fun with this toy. As a parent, I found the assembly excessive (or at least way more than I'm used to for a toddler toy - 8 screws, lots of steps and pieces). The assembly instructions were detailed but still left me wondering why there was not enough clearance for the balls going down the ramp, so I took it apart and reassembled it. Same problem. I have attached a picture of the screwed-in ramp support piece that makes the balls get stuck. At first, it was occasional, now they get stuck all the time. The elephant is a sturdy non-glossy plastic and the ramp seems to be made of a shiny more flimsy plastic - the material that you might find with dollar store toys. Does this stop my child from using it? No, he still loves it. It just cuts the fun at the end. The second thing that stood out to me was the size - a big base that you have to step/trip over. It seems like a large toy, but I prefer small toys and would not have purchased this if I were to have seen it on display at a store. That said, we have found that base and the structure as a whole to be sufficiently sturdy for my 12-month-old to pull himself up to stand, so I can see the benefits there. The final thing that stood out to me (and is more of an issue for me and my older children) is the look of the elephant (see picture attached). This is the angle you don't see beforehand, and for good reason. It looks really strange. The balls don't exactly go in the elephant's trunk, but instead in a big hole cut out of the middle of its trunk and face. My older son commented on it as soon as it was set up. I still stare at it and wonder why they couldn't make a better design. The ramp is the only functional design flaw, but overall, the design needs a lot of improvement. And yet, my son never tires of this one - it's fun every day for a long time!

I received the product for free and this review reflects my honest opinions, findings, beliefs or experiences in regard to the product.

My 12 month old initially enjoyed playing with this once my husband put this together, but he slowly lost interest after 5 minutes of playing. When the ball spits out, it rolls out of one of four locations and I noticed that when the Little One did not know where the ball rolled out, he then lost interest. That was the first week. Towards the 2nd week, he returned to the toy and knew exactly where to place the ball and was playing with it a bit longer than the first time. I think it just took some time till he he enjoyed playing with it. It is a bit bulky and I wish all the balls made a rattle noise for the child to hear. He enjoyed the musical sound as the ball passes through the elephant trunk.

I received the product for free and this review reflects my honest opinions, findings, beliefs or experiences in regard to the product.

First off, this product was very easy to put together. I didn't have to follow long complicated directions. Yay!

My daughter is going through a phase where she would rather play with shoes, remotes, and boxes rather than baby toys. This toy didn't keep her attention span for too long but I think she liked watching me put the balls on the ramp. She herself didn't quite understand that she needed to put the balls in the elephant's truck in order for them to go down the slide.

The balls are lightweight and fit in my 10 month old's hands. She loved to hit the balls against the plastic and against each other.

The balls do tend to get stuck on the slide. The plastic is a bit flimsy and the ball doesn't make it all the way to the bottom section.

The babies are supposed to use the elephant to help them stand as well but my daughter never figured that out.

I think she'll really enjoy this toy when she's a couple months older and can put the balls on the slide herself and stand up with it.

This is one of my sons favorite toys. Yes, it is a little annoying that batteries weren't included and it took us over a week and a half to finally go out and buy them but my son loved it before we even put them in. We have no issues with balls getting stuck on the ramp and he loves being surprised with which direction the balls will come from when they finally make it down. A bonus for us has been that my non-walking 12 month old has used this to scoot around the house with when he is practicing his walking its the perfect height for him to lean against to walk. The balls are also fun without the toy so that a bonus for us as well. My 5 year old daughter also really enjoys playing this toy with him. Its been a win win for all of us

I received this product for free and this review reflects my honest opinions, findings, beliefs, experiences, I. Regard to this product.

This toy is fun for a short time and when you sit and entertain your child. My 9 month old could not do it yet but we will keep trying! I enjoy the concept, however the size of the toy for the concept is much too large. There is no simple way of storing it. We have other ball and ramp toys that are compact and/or collapsible. We like how it plays music when the ball goes down and also how the balls go down different sides.

I received the product for free and this review reflects my honest opinions, findings, beliefs or experiences in regard to the product. I agree with the other reviewers, it would be nice if the product came with one set of batteries to start with. Also, my 9 month old did not play with this toy much. It is cute, but after a few minutes, he was bored with it. I gave it two stars because the little shaker balls are fun but more balls included with the toy would be nice as the size makes them easy to loose.

I received this product for free and this review reflects my honest opinion in regard to the product. My 9 month old daughter showed interest in this for a very short time. She does enjoy that it plays music, and she still plays with the balls that it came with, but doesn't care about the actual toy itself (after 2 weeks). Also, the balls get stuck in the swinging door on the slide and cause a pile up. Wasn't worth the time it took to un package it and set it up. Unfortunately I can not recommend this toy.

I love this toy so much and my son loves it even more. My son enjoys playing with it for hours. Assembly was quick and easy, however I did have a little trouble putting the ramp together. But after some assistance from my husband it was a breeze. Even my 5 year old likes playing with it as well, sometimes even more than his little brother. My son is 12 months and he loves watching the balls roll down the ramp. My son also loves when he puts the ball inside the elephant's trunk and it starts playing music. Plus, my son had no problem figuring out where the balls went in order to make the music play. This is a simple toy that keeps my son entertained all day long. I really would recommend this toy for other little ones like my son.
