I haven't used an electric brush in years so they have come a long way with the fact of adding Bluetooth to the device. I have been using just manual tooth brushes for years and they seem to do the job moderately so hopefully this will be a step in the right direction to better and healthier oral care. Packaging: The box and the design are great and appealing. You are able to understand what features are offered with the toothbrush. The box recyclable and I would recommend that everyone do so to help the environment. With how big the company Oral-B is and the price of the product I would expect the design and graphics to look top notch. Upon opening the contents are securely held in a molded piece of Styrofoam. Other parts such as the charger were securely held together with cardboard. With this much packaging less likely anything will be destroyed while shipping. Appearance: At first it looks like there are a lot of parts to this, but once it's all assembled it really isn't that much. The stand arrives in two pieces. It's easy to assemble and looks sleek and stylish with the white and grey colors for any bathroom countertop. I really like the fact that both the bottom of the tooth brush and top of the charger are completely covered in plastic that is easy to wipe clean. Whereas my past electronic tooth brushes there was plenty of nooks and crevices for stuff to build up. The feel of the tooth brush was a lot chunkier and heavier than the manual tooth brushes that I use. Not to say it's not ergonomic to fit your hand well just need to get used to the feel of it. The power switch is easily accessible for your thumb to turn on and off. Even though it's easily accessible the pressure needed to turn on and off is a bit much. Plus you have to go through the modes until you turn it off. I should note I am left handed and this feels comfortable in my hand. This is nice because it's at least one product that is made for both left and right handers. The brush head moves like a kit-cat clocks tail from left to right with the push of your fingers. The feel of the bristles are strong, durable and flexible as well. It's easy to install the brush head and clicks securely onto the tooth brush. Takes tiny pressure and is just as easy to remove. The charger easily clicks into the stand and looks good as one entire piece. The stand also holds extra brush heads under a little cover to keep everything clean for the most part while providing ventilation for the brush heads to dry out. If you don't want to use the stand you can use the charging port alone. I think the charging cord is a good length, I roughly measured 45 inches. For me my bathroom counter is small and so I keep most of the cord wrapped up. I ended storing the charging station/stand because I already have a place for the toothbrush. I do bring it out when I need to charge. I really like the fact the brushes battery lasts for 7 days with 2 minutes twice a day that way if you get in a pattern like I have you only have to charge it Sunday night. It says it can take up to 22 hours to charge. The unit flashes green light to let you know it's charging and turns off once it's completely charged. If you are using the brush and the battery is low the red charger signal turns under the battery light. Use: After using this for about a month I am beyond satisfied that I had the opportunity to use this toothbrush. The benefits are so much more worth the manual. The best part is being reminded by the signal to switch quadrants compared to before where I was just doing it haphazardly. I also like the signal letting me know I am apply too much pressure while brushing. That has been a definite eye opener. As for the app it's relevant for today's electronics and I love seeing how I have been doing over the time. It tracks your sessions as long as your phones Bluetooth is on, connected and near your brush. You can also set as schedule focused on particular things like whitening your teeth, gum health and others and they call this your "Journey". Once you have set this it becomes your personalized journey where you can select targeted problem areas. I think the app is a unique feature and helps you keep up on your oral health. I have gotten used to the feel of the vibration and weight of the tooth brush. As monotonous brushing your teeth can be this brush makes it easier and more exciting. The lights on the device are bright but don't affect me. I like the fact that you can see what you are doing if you are in a dim lit bathroom. I can noticeably see a difference in my gum health and the appearance of my teeth. Definitely feel like I accomplish more with this brush than the manual brush. Price: A 100 dollar electronic tooth brush is a lot of money to spend compared to using manual tooth brushes. I think that is mainly the reason I avoided going to electronic because the cost of them. I think it would be easier for people to move to such a brush if the price wasn't so high. I do think it's a great quality and it does what's intended. Overall: I am very happy with the tooth brush and glad I have crossed over back to the electronic side of brushing teeth. The brush works great and is easy to clean, charge and work with. I think if I had to point out any flaw with the brush it it's very loud. It almost sounds like a drill. Also the pressure in which you need to cycle through the modes and turn off it could be a lot easier. Mine has yet to lose its charge or have battery issues. I will update accordingly. I would cation over charging the battery, over 22 hours I think would damage the battery and it's longevity. I received this item at a discounted price for my honest review. Every review I do is based 100% off of my experience with the product and I do not guarantee a positive review.

So after a few weeks of using the Oral-B Pro 3000, I have some helpful feedback for both the consumer and Oral-B. Full disclosure - I received this product for free from the good folks at Oral-B. Here we go! Function: So, the main point of the innovations seen with the Oral-B Pro 3000 is to ensure you hit your oral hygiene goals (who knew I was even supposed to have such goals?!). You can aim for whiter teeth, fresher breath, and so on. I shot for fresher breath, because I really wanted to see if improving my brushing habits would reduce my need for chewing gum throughout the day. The setup was pretty easy. I just had to download an app for my iPhone and sync the toothbrush to its Bluetooth. One surprise is that you have to charge the toothbrush for nearly a day before using it. I can't think of one other electronic device I own that requires such a thing... Luckily, I read the instructions shortly after un-boxing, which left enough time for a decent charge before my morning routine. The toothbrush stand is very convenient in that it charges the wand, holds extra brushing tips, and has a decently small footprint. The brush synced up very easily the first time. However, the success rate dropped significantly over time. I often found myself spending more time trying to sync the brush up than I did brushing my teeth. This is certainly a *needs improvement* feature. In order to sync, you must turn the wand on and off. It takes using it a few times before you start to remember to sync first, then apply toothpaste. Too many times have I ended up splattering toothpaste all over myself and the bathroom for messing the order up! One feature I found very interesting is the pressure sensor and indicator. If you begin brushing with "too much pressure" a red light on the wand will flash as a warning. This is also tracked on the app. However, I wonder how they determine what too much pressure is and how accurate the sensor is. The Journey: So, the coaching works like this... You select an oral hygiene journey to embark on. The app coaches you through brushing, flossing, mouthwash usage, etc. For brushing, the app provides a 2 minute timer that is broken up into 30 second intervals. The wand will vibrate at these intervals as well, which is handy. As you brush, the app will display your local weather and some news stories. Of course, the app cleverly recommends different products to use from the brand. The app will track your execution of brushing and so on daily over a couple of weeks. The Product: Although this product is marketed as a "professional" toothbrush, the design looks much more like the standard colorful brushes you see in the retail store. The motorized brush head works as could be expected if you've ever used one before. The wand is designed such that you get all of the feedback information independently from the mobile app, which is a huge plus given the inconsistency with Bluetooth syncing. A great improvement will be to store the brushing activity in the wand to be synced later at any time much like activity trackers do. As of now, you must sync the app first, and that is your only chance to track the brushing activity. The wand is a bit weighty, but it feels pretty natural in the hand. It is fairly easy to clean and maintain. My Take: Overall, the clumsiness with Bluetooth syncing made the journey a hassle. After a week of fumbling with the Bluetooth connectivity, I decided to ditch it and pay attention to the feedback from the wand. The indicators for excessive pressure and 30 second intervals built into the wand made it easy to keep up my regiment. I wish the toothbrush was a little less festive and colorful. I prefer a simpler look. I am not really fond of sharing my oral hygiene habits with my social networks either. I don't think anyone really cares for such personal and mundane information. If you have time to mess around with syncing your brush to your phone every morning and you want some oral hygiene coaching/accountability, I recommend this product. Personally, I don't typically have my phone with me in the bathroom, so this is a bit of a hassle for me. However, considering that the main feature of this brush is its tracking via Bluetooth, this product is in great need of improvement. Here's a summary: Good:
- Motorized head works great
- Toothbrush stand is convenient
- 30 second interval timer built into wand
- Excessive pressure indicator
- App has some pretty clever features Bad:
- Bluetooth syncing is unreliable
- A two minute activity turns into a five minute activity easily
- Must be synced first to track activity
- Color scheme is unprofessional

Comments about Procter & Gamble Oral-B Pro-Health Stages 2 Toddler Toothbrush - Disney Jake and the Never Land Pirates:

I want to start by saying that I received this product for free from Oral-B for the purpose of this unbiased review. I have never used a electric toothbrush before, but had been thinking of getting one and my dentist recommended that I get one. I have been using the Oral-B Pro 3000 for just over a month and the other reviews i have read are spot on. You feel like you just got out of the dentist chair. Over the past few weeks i have noticed my teeth getting whiter and whiter, with no other change other than the toothbrush. I can't wait until my next check-up to see what the dentist has to say. One thing I would like to note as i did not read the directions first, is to be sure to have the toothbrush in your mouth before turning it on. It only takes once to make that mistake. I didn't have much experience with the Bluetooth features, as my primary phone died on me about a week or two in. In conclusion, anyone in the market for an electric toothbrush, look no further. I intend to order a few replacement heads and let my wife take it for a "spin"

Great brushing - might be gimicky - or maybe not

Comments about Procter & Gamble Oral-B Pro-Health Stages 2 Toddler Toothbrush - Disney Jake and the Never Land Pirates:

First and foremost, this is a toothbrush. I had no expectations that a Bluetooth device had a place in my bathroom but I wanted to give the Pro 3000 a fair shot. I brush every day and floss regularly so this was not going to be a big change in routine for me. The brush itself was pretty much what I had expected. The brush turns on, I get an indication at 15 seconds that it is time to move to the next quadrant of my mouth and finish. One nice extra is that there is a visual indication of a red light if you press too hard. Compared to an older Oral-B and also to a more recent Sonicare it had a great deal more power and was a bit louder but that did not prove to me that it was better cleaning. After 6 weeks of brushing and flossing, what did prove the performance was not the toothbrush but rather my floss. At the risk of being a bit graphic, most times that I floss my gums bleed quite a bit. This is just something that I have come to expect. I pay extra for special cleanings because of it. After 6 weeks I am having almost no bleeding when I floss! Score one for Oral-B! So on to the Bluetooth feature. I think that for an adult with an established routine, it is probably a bit of a gimmick to have an app running on your phone while brushing... maybe. I say maybe because there is one feature with the app that I think is really great. The app gives you the opportunity to specify 'focus' areas that might need extra brushing. You are presented with a map of your mouth and you simply click each section. By default, an additional 10 seconds of brushing is added for each focus section at the end of your full brushing. In fact, the app even shows you graphically where to brush during these added times. As I said, I think the app is a bit silly if you have a routine but what really makes it a win is that the toothbrush 'remembers' your focused brushing locations even if you aren't using the app! So, I complete the 4 quadrants and instead of indicating that I am finished by pulsing four times, it goes on until I do the extra areas. Fantastic! Ok so maybe I am getting a little too excited about being able to program my toothbrush and only my next dental cleaning will tell if it really makes a difference but for now, I am sold. Note: I received this toothbrush from the manufacturer for evaluation and my honest review.

The moment I got this electric toothbrush from Oral -B, I immediately felt the difference with my regular toothbrush. The electric toothbrush gets in different areas of the mouth that are hard to reach with a normal toothbrush. The pressure light is a great feature because it helps you manage how hard you are cleaning your teeth. Also, is easy to charge, the head brush are easy to find on the stores or online. Overall I highly recommend this product because my teeth feel cleaner than ever. I am quite impressed.

Comments about Procter & Gamble Oral-B Pro-Health Stages 2 Toddler Toothbrush - Disney Jake and the Never Land Pirates:

I have very sensitive know the ones that makes you cry when you eat too cold or too hot stuff and I have to admit that I was a bit scared with this whole electric toothbrush thing. Now I love It. First of all, you can't miss the charging stand and closed compartment for extra brushes. It is great for me! I'm one of those that hate to keep the toothbrush in the bathroom or put it where the kids can grab it and .. yuck! Now I keep it on a shelf in my room, charged and ready to go. At first I was surprised to see a red light flashing all the time, and then I read that it was the pressure sensor to prevent from brushing too hard.. No wonder I have so much sensitivity. This feature works wonderful for me, like is training me to brush properly. My husband tried it and He was amazed at how clean was his mouth. I truly recommend to use the Oral-B Pro 3000

A brush that will give you a shiny smile.

Comments about Procter & Gamble Oral-B Pro-Health Stages 2 Toddler Toothbrush - Disney Jake and the Never Land Pirates:

2 months ago I switched to Oral-B Pro 3000. I like the skinny, silicon design that helps grip the brush better. It comes with 3 features: Gum Care, Sensitive mode and Daily Clean plus Visible Pressure sensor. I have gum issues and was very satisfied with lack of bleeding using this brush. Another cool function I absolutely loved about this brush is it has Bluetooth. I downloaded Oral-B app and it keeps track of how long I have brushed. I love how it tells if I've been using too much pressure by the color ring on the side of the bush changing colors. You can personalize the color using the app. App definitely helps in keeping track of brushing correctly. It also comes with a charging station. That helps protect up 4 brush heads. I like that this brush it takes 8-10 days before it needs to be recharged. Initially I wasn't sure about the small circular brush head design, but it grew on me. It taught me to be patient and brush every single teeth The only negative thing i really didn't like was the loud humming nice using it and the pulse other than that no complains. I can see myself using this brush for a long time. It leaves my teeth healthy, smooth and shiny. Disclaimer: I received this product for free for my honest and unbiased review.

Clean Teeth, Fresh Breath, Great Technology

    By JHeath6160

    from Fife, WA

Comments about Procter & Gamble Oral-B Pro-Health Stages 2 Toddler Toothbrush - Disney Jake and the Never Land Pirates:

They say cleanliness is next to Godliness and for the most part I tend to agree, especially when it comes to having clean teeth. There is nothing worse than waking up with bad morning breath and using a toothbrush that is cheap and ineffective. Luckily, I don't have to as I was recently given the opportunity to test the Pro 3000 SmartSeries Electric Toothbrush by Oral-B. This being my first electric toothbrush, I didn't really know what to expect. I was a bit surprised to see it came with an extensive user manual as I figured all you had to do was plug it in, charge it and use it. After a few days of testing, I found the Pro 3000 makes it easy more than ever to not only keep your teeth clean but utilize great technology in the process. The toothbrush handle features 3 separate modes; Daily Clean Plus, Gum Care and Sensitive Mode. Each one is made to specifically meet the brushing needs of your mouth as every person is different. I tend to use the Daily Clean Plus mode as the toothbrush lights up to indicate when I am brushing too hard. I also appreciate the in-handle brushing timer which pulses every 30 seconds to let you know when to switch areas of the your mouth. It takes the guess work out brushing my teeth which makes it quick and easy to use. I haven't used the bluetooth technology yet to connect to the toothbrush to Oral-B's App as I don't really see a need for it. I like to brush my teeth without being on a schedule, but I see this being useful for someone who is looking for personalized brushing routines and daily monitoring. With a hefty price tag, I could easily buy a couple year supply of disposable toothbrushes but without the same effectiveness. The Oral-B Pro 3000 Electric Toothbrush enables me to protect my smile, remove plaque and keep fighting gingivitis at the same time. Compared to a manual toothbrush or cheap replacement, this is a worthwhile option for all my brushing needs. I'm extremely happy with my new toothbrush and look forward to using it for years to come. I received this product for free from Oral-B in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.
