What is the Very Important Baby (V.I.B.) card?

The Very Important Baby (V.I.B.) card is a reloadable gift card that you can use to purchase all of baby's important essentials—diapers, wipes, formula and baby food! When family, friends, or Moms load funds onto the V.I.B. card, "R"Us will add a 10% bonus contribution (up to $200 per year) within 24 to 48 hours. For example, if $100 is loaded onto the V.I.B. card, "R"Us will contribute $10, for a total of $110.

How can I get a V.I.B. card at a Babies"R"Us or Toys"R"Us store?

New and existing Baby Registrants can add a V.I.B. card to their registry at any Babies"R"Us and Toys"R"Us store, excluding Outlet locations. Stop by the Registry Desk where a Registry Consultant will be happy to help you. Please note that you must be a Rewards"R"Us Member to participate in the V.I.B. program. Not a member? Can I sign up for a V.I.B. card, even if I do not have a Baby Registry?

Yes! All Rewards"R"Us Members can sign up for a V.I.B. account, even if you do not have a Baby Registry. To sign up, simply visit the Registry Desk at any Babies"R"Us or Toys"R"Us store, excluding Outlet locations. Our Team Members will happily assist you. Not a Rewards"R'Us Member? No problem! Can I get a V.I.B. card if I register online?

Absolutely! Guests who prefer to create a new Baby Registry online just need to add a V.I.B. card to their list. Please note that, in order to add a V.I.B. card, guests must be Rewards"R"Us Members. Existing Rewards Members will be prompted to include their membership number. New Members will be prompted to enroll during the online registry process.

I've already created my Baby Registry online. Can I still add a V.I.B. card?

Sure you can! Just visit any "R"Us store, excluding Outlet locations, to sign up.

Where can I use my V.I.B. card?

At this time, the V.I.B. card is valid for in-store purchases at all Babies"R"Us and Toys"R"Us stores in the United States and Puerto Rico, excluding outlet locations.

Can I load money onto my V.I.B. card online?

Yes, you can add funds to your V.I.B. card at any time online. Just follow the instructions to key in your V.I.B. card number, select the dollar amount to be added, and then proceed through checkout.

How do gift-givers use my Baby Registry to add funds to my V.I.B. card?

Gift-givers can add funds to a registered Mom's V.I.B. card in store or online at Babiesrus.com. To add funds in-store, obtain a registry printout and a Team Member can complete the transaction at the register. To add funds online, gift-givers simply add the V.I.B. card to the cart from your Baby Registry, select the dollar amount to be added, and proceed through checkout.

How much money can gift-givers add to my V.I.B. Card?

There is no limit to how much a gift giver can add to your V.I.B. Card. However, the V.I.B. card can hold only a maximum balance of $1,800 from gift-giver or cardholder contributions at any given time.

Does the money added to the V.I.B. card by gift-givers and cardholders, or the bonus contributions, expire after a certain period?

Funds added to a V.I.B. card by gift-givers and cardholders do not expire. However, bonus dollars added to a V.I.B. card expire after 12 months, if unused. Each time you use your V.I.B. card to make a purchase, your bonus dollars will be applied first, so that you don't have to worry about your bonus dollars expiring.

How can I check my V.I.B. card balance?

You can visit the Reward"R"Us website at Toysrus.com/myrewards to view your V.I.B. account balance and accrued V.I.B. bonus dollars.

How much in V.I.B. bonus dollars can be earned?

You can get up to $200 bonus dollars per year. When the maximum bonus is reached, the card will reset on the anniversary of the card's activation date.

What should I do if my card is lost?

Call Guest Services immediately at 1-888-222-9787 to report your missing card. You will need to confirm your identity. Your current account will be closed and a new V.I.B. account will be opened. Any existing funds will be transferred to your new V.I.B. account.
