Special Olympics 2014 USA Games Sponsored by ToysRUs

As a company that loves kids, Toys“R”Us has a long history of supporting the special needs community. Our partnership with the 2014 Special Olympics USA Games and sponsorship of the first-ever Young Athletes Festival further builds on this commitment.

For nearly two decades, Toys”R”Us has published the annual Toys”R”Us Toy Guide for Differently-Abled Kids. This easy-to-use resource features specially selected toys that encourage play for children with physical, cognitive and developmental disabilities. Serving as an inspiration to children with special needs, Isabella Caesar and Samuel Lopez from Special Olympics New Jersey’s Young Athletes Program are featured on the cover of the latest edition, along with Gabby Douglas, 2012 All-Around gymnastics gold medalist. In addition to Special Olympics, Toys“R”Us is proud to support leading national organizations committed to helping children with special needs, including Autism Speaks, Muscular Dystrophy Association and National Down Syndrome Society, among many others.
