Great, but Messy!
I bought this for my granddaughter, she loves it but the slime is too messy. it is so messy it ruined the carpet in her room and the dolls hair. we had to shave the hair but she's redoing it with yarn. thanks!

Fun and beautiful doll. Good quality slime!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter was trilled to open this doll. The doll’s face is beautiful! She comes with 5 items. Her face makeup changes when exposed to cold or warm. My daughter absolutely loves the slime, it’s not super sticky which is great. It’s perfect for kids who are careful with slime. Love that the slime isn’t messy.

Cute but didn’t work
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The concept is a neat idea however it just doesn’t flow well. The slime is out of place and the instructions are a little confusing. My daughter didn’t like that the doll didn’t change even when we used the water as instructed. Overall it’s cute but I probably wouldn’t buy it.

Super fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a fun Barbie. My girls loved opening all the surprises and thought the slime in the cup was extra fun. The doll is super cute. We love that the colors all match the theme of the cup and doll.

Great idea! Slime + Barbie!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter absolutely loved opening up this toy. She loved the concept of poking the slime into the tumbler and revealing the additional surprises inside the ice cubes which included a Barbie sized tumbler and roller skates. She also smells like grape candy and has cool two-toned color hair and her swimsuit and shorts are so precious. We loved this set and the who tumbler, straw and slime concept with the reveal was an added bonus.

Barbie with Slime
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Barbie comes with slime that sort of smelled like grapes. The slime was very wet, but easy to clean up. The slime was not a favorite with my girls. The reveals the accessories, the pet was the best The Barbie was folded up inside but wasn't a reveal. The straw wasn't really a straw, so not sure why it was there.

Reveal a Barbie with accessories...and slime!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Barbie came packaged in a purple hard plastic cup, with a plastic clear top (looks like a drink cup). Paper packaging is very colorful and was immediately appealing to my almost 5-year old. Inside were slime, the Barbie, shorts for Barbie, skates for Barbie, cup for Barbie, and a grape-scented critter. My daughter used the straw-like (not a real straw) plastic stick to punch through the foil in the lid and release the slime into the cup. The slime was one of the highlights. It feels very wet, but was not sticky to the table. We saved the slime in a plastic baggie and my daughter continues to play with it. The Barbie has long purple hair and painted on bathing suit. The Barbie went straight into the bath to check out the color-changing hair streak and face make-up. Cold water makes them appear brighter. It wasn't a loud difference, but definitely enough to notice. Fruit scent has definitely lessened after a week of bath time, which I would have expected. Overall a very colorful Barbie that my daughter continues to play with. She loved the unboxing experience and has been asking to collect the other scented Barbies in this series.

Fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun toy for kids. The blind bag element is always fun because it makes things mysterious. It was fun to open the different packaging and see who the doll was and what accessories she came with. What makes this doll different is the added element of slime! The slime is very gooey and fun to play with. Our doll was grape scented so most items carry a sweet grape scent. It is a fun toy!

Overall it’s a good doll, not suitable for under 6
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My two girls and I opened the Barbie at home when she arrived. We found it a little difficult to get the straw through the foil to release the slime. The age range on the doll should not be under 6 as there is small parts and the slime was watery. It’s what is considered water slime due to it being released on ice cubes. The slime left watery residue on our hands and island. The more you played with the slime the more sticker it became, then leaving slime stuck to you as well. The Barbie had very pretty hair, she wasn’t the prettiest doll but my girls enjoyed the hot/cold changing items on her face. Her knees, legs, and ankles are all lifelike movement, we had wished her arms/wrist were as well as she just had the topical Barbie pose with her arms/hands. She came with a couple surprises that are meant to smell like grape. The smell was faint when we first opened it but then it was gone soon after. She had skates an a cool little dog you can also use as a pencil topper which we thought was cool. It’s also nice that the bag the Barbie came in can be reused to store the slime. The third day of having the Barbie/slime though we attempted to play with slime and it almost all got stuck to the island. My girls keep everything inside the cup she came in which is pretty handy. They have played with the doll and accessorize daily with their other Barbie’s and Barbie toys. The age range should be more like 6+, not the 3+ listed on the box.

Very Inventive, but make it functional too!
My daughter LOVES this set. She played with the slime for hours. And loves the grape theme.
Similar to other reviews the straw that isn't a straw is weird. She desperately wants to use the cup as a cup. but there is no straw long enough. So, my only suggestion is to make the cup and straw functional. Love the creativity of these new products. It has kept her entertained for a long time.

Amazing gift for little one
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doll is so cute! It was actually a lot bigger than i had expected it to be. I love the quality - all the toys from this program have been amazing! This toy is such a neat idea. The idea of a surprise doll has been super great - keeps kids excited about what they are going to get.

A pop of applause for Barbie Pop Reveal?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had no idea what to expect with this iteration of the Barbie Reveal series. I was very optimistic having loved the Barbie Color Reveal and Barbie Cutie Reveal lines for the past several years. Knowing these are something me and my daughter can enjoy and play with together.
The packaging is attractive, and easily spot-able on the store shelves (I've seen these in the stores over the past few weeks).
After opening the package, I did have to roll out the instructions, which were easy to follow for me, but not my daughter. I expected this though, so no worries. At this point, I had still not realized the overarching theme of the doll. I was so confused why a stubby straw was included. I was at first horrified I or my daughter would have to slurp something up to make this work. My daughter asked if she could have some and tried to bite the straw. Crisis averted after I took a close look at the instructions. By Step F I was convinced I was doing something wrong. Why had I covered my doll's accessories boxes with slime? Why hadn't the slime activated them somehow? I was waiting for them to "pop" or something. Back to the directions at this point to assure myself and my daughter I wasn't missing anything. My daughter did not enjoy fishing the cubes out of the slime, which had covered them in a sticky film. To be fair, she has never been huge on the slime, so this was a bit expected. When I finally got the 'pop' I'd be anxiously awaiting, I was unamused but my daughter loved doing it. Since we were able to put the lids back on the cubes, we did it many, many times. She was hardly interested in the accessories at this point, and she decided we were going to have a cube popping war. Once I was defeated we got to the doll....
As an adult doll collector, I appreciated the MTM knee articulation and was blown away by the gorgeous face mold. The doll is absolutely stunning. My daughter loves the purple hairafter brushing what seemed like endlessly the hair still felt smooth and manageable. When she grows tired of this doll, she may end up in my collection!
The accessories were confusing. The ?dog? didn't smell like anything, as indicated on the back of the instructions, and the purple grapes still serve no purpose. My daughter didn't give it a second glance (some type of pool raft for the pet?) I wound up putting the slime in the bag myself and sealing it. I have a feeling it will end up in the trash, but again, never a big slime household.
I'm giving the unboxing 'activity' 2 stars and the doll itself 4 stars, so I'm landing right in the middle and giving the whole experience 3 stars. Once I figured out the "Pop" was referring to soda, the concept made sense. We're from the northwest and have never called soda "pop". Always just soda, therein lies the confusion. This experience was saved by the gorgeous doll. Such a great face to take photos of, which I will attach! She will defiantly land on my doll shelves eventually.
Would I buy a doll from this series? For my daughter, no. There was just not enough play and activity involved. Not liking slime and really only interested in the exploding capsule lids, I would would rather get something with a little more play value. I would probably buy them for themself if they were at the right price point, or on sale. I can get Barbie just as stunning with more money put into articulation and outfit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really enjoyed opening our "Barbie pop reveal doll" my daughter loved the brightly colored hair on Barbie! The slime with the pretend cup was a cool packaging touch. My daughter enjoys playing pretend with the cup barbie came in. It also can double as a place to store the slime.

Everyone loves a Barbie that "does something"
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave the Barbie Pop Reveal cup to my 6 year old daughter. Just looking at the package, she was excited to open it. The cup is super cute and can be used as a cup with open top for a straw. It can also be used to put all the Barbie items from the package in one place. We got the grape themed Barbie. It came with purple glitter slime, two mystery packages and two items in plastic ice cube containers. The mystery items were a small puppy with a grape ring and shorts for the barbie. In the ice cube were a pair of skates and a cup for Barbie.
The directions are kind of confusing. The cup comes with a short "straw"; it's decorative plastic with no hole through and has a semi sharp end that you are supposed to use to poke the top of the cup that has the slime in it. The slime is supposed to cover the "ice cubes" so you can reveal the surprise, but you have to take everything out before hand, so not really a surprise(?!)
The Barbie does change hair color when put in hot or cold water, which my daughter thoroughly enjoyed. The Barbie also has a visible sticker on its face in warm water.
One issue, once the slime is opened, there is nowhere to put it. It would be nice if all the items were in cubes so when items are taken out, slime could be put in them when not in use.
Overall, the whole experience was about a 6 out of 10. It's fun and interactive, but not thoroughly planned out for a kid's toy that contains slime. Also, once the "straw" is used to poke through the slime cover, it has zero use.
