Good for an afternoon
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this toy to try for free thanks to the folks at Spin Master & Butterly. The packaging wasn't very fun to open. Way too many security strings when a 4 year old is anxiously waiting for you to open the toy. My son loved it and it was easy to use. Downfall is the balls are hard and fly out of the firehose, knocking down more than just the mini plastic fires in their wake. Recommend for an afternoon and away from any breakables. What boy doesn't want to spray a firehose? Thank you Butterly & Spin Master!

Cute toy to practice aiming skills
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product was a lot of fun and well designed. My daughter was first very excited to wear the badge that was provided in the box. Its nice that it stays secure well on clothing with an easy to attach backing. I love that the firing mechanism contains holders for the balls on the shooter itself so the balls cant go missing! Its also nice that the shooter doesnt shoot *too* hard so it wouldnt not hurt someone if they accidentally were in the way of the ball when it is shot. My daughter loved setting up the flames and firing the balls at the flames to knock them down. It was easy for her to shoot and also remove and reload the balls into the shooter. Nicely designed toy overall.

Great toy for little firefighters
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids are 6 and 3 and even tho this toy is for 3 and up it's definitely easier to maneuver for an older child. My 3 year old struggled a little to shoot the balls out which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The badge is such an adorable touch and add on, it made my kids feel like real firefighters while pretend playing. I almost wish the toy also came with a helmet. Regardless, both my kids enjoyed this toy even tho they've never seen the Firebuds show.

Such a cool toy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Watch out fires! The Disney Junior Firebuds training kit gets your little firefighter in training to feel like they are in the action.
It comes with balls that you can shoot at pretend flames and my daughter had a blast with it! A fun activity to work on aiming. Would highly recommend if you have a little one that enjoys everything firefighting, the water ball shooter and the balls are really good quality plastic.

Fun for both boys + girls!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest review. My 4 year old daughter was the one who played/tested it. It was quick + easy to set up right out of the box. My daughter had fun playing and had no issues setting the ball back into the firehose gun. My 22 month old son also had fun just playing with the balls and fire targets. A great toy that provided loads of fun!

It was ok
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this to my kids age 3 and 5 to play with. They both love firefighting and play imaginary games where they are putting out fires often. They loved the packaging and the little fires to be put out. The water hose looks more like a gun and was a bit difficult for both of them to aim and maneuver. Perhaps for older kids it would be a bit easier. They also lost interest in using it the intended way (putting out fires with the balls) and used the little fires to make up their own game. Its a cute idea for kids who like firefighting but I think it wouldnt get much long term use for many kids as its not really designed for open ended play. The packaging was attractive and it would make a lovely gift. I am also hesitant to have anything that shoots or resembles a gun in our home. Even though this is intended to be a fire hose it really functioned and seemed more gun like than I would want.

The best summer toy.

Good toy for role play
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you for sending my family this spin master toy for free in exchange for my review. I have 3 girls aged 7, 4, 2, who were very excited to have a new toy to try out. When they first saw the package, they were very curious and wanted it opened right away. My 7yr old put the badge thats included on right away, and was able to figure it out on her own. They all had fun setting up the little fire pieces and loading up the balls to take the fire out. My 2 yr old loves chasing after the balls when they were shot to retrieve them back to her sisters. They enjoyed it for a good couple of hours, taking turns with who goes next. Even my 2yr old was able to use the mechanics of the fire hose to take out the fire. My 4 yr old loves the idea of becoming a firefighter and really took on the role while playing.
The balls are easy to pop back into place on the hose I like that there is a spot for all 3. The only challenge is trying to get the kids to put them back on the hose.
I also like that they didnt need to be familiar with the Disney Jr Fire-buds show in order to have fun with the toy. My only con for this toy is that the pieces can get lost quickly, because it includes many parts. Having some sort of backpack or carrier to put them in after play would be nice to include. The durability of the toy is great, the mechanism to shoot the balls hasnt broken yet and they play with it often.
