Rated 1 out of 5 by from Taking out Crushzilla [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought my 4 year old son would love playing with the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Arena Smashers Mega-Wrex vs. Crushzilla Takedown but it really didnt keep his interest. Maybe he is too young for the Arena Smashers line but I didnt think it was really that great either. There are no battery operated parts which is nice but it really leaves a lot to the imagination. It took a lot of time to launch the cars to "takedown Crushzilla", I felt the product was boring and didnt keep my son's interest.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great raucous free play car set! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Arena Smashers is not your typical car track. It is a free play, catapult, wrecking, smashing free for all and my 6 year old loves it! I was a little hesitant after building it because it isn't what he's used to with a car track but he immediately started flinging his truck and using his imagination to fight the King Kong in the middle. The set comes with 1 monster truck and 2 plastic car molds that can be used with the set. The downside of the set is that it is very difficult to build. The stickers are a one shot deal so place them carefully. The directions are a little confusing and some pieces require a little more muscle than usual to snap together. However another upside is that it does not require any batteries!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great fun and interaction without electronics! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a wonderful playset with lots of ways to interact and play. The playset is essentially a game where you launch monster trucks ant the gorilla to knock it over and crash into the bleachers behind it. These bleachers are able to hold regular hotwheels or monster trucks to add even mor chaos! The secondary objective is to crash into the back to release any cars it may have ate. It is nice to see a playset like this that does not make use of any electronics or need of batteries. While the playset can easily offer plenty of playtime, be warned that there is also plenty of setup that is required! Not only are there a lot of pieces to put together but the most stickers I have seen in a while as well. With that said, the setup and instructions were very easy to follow and snapped together without any challenges.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks Fun But Kinda Boring [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hot Wheels Monster Truck Arena Smashers looks like a really fun toy but there really wasn't much to do with it. It is made with good quality but it took some time to put together. The kids had a hard time figuring out what the trucks were supposed to do and how to play with it. It did not keep there attention for long because they were frustrated with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loads of hot wheels fun! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is big, it is entertaining and everything you expect from Hot Wheels. My child loved it. Assembly was straightforward, lots of plastic parts but it was easy. My child loved helping me find the specific parts and click it together. Stickers were easy to apply and a nice easy to follow direction booklet. The monster swings and makes noise as you try to launch cars through the tire. The launching part was the only area I would say my child had some difficulties. The monster is wearing underwear and my child thought that was hilarious, it was a funny touch. Another fun feature is this toy comes with a giant hot wheels car/monster truck. This was a big hit at our house! It is a big item, taking up a good amount of space but it is well utilized and loved at our home. It’s a great addition to anyone who loves hot wheels!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun Gorilla [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow this toy is so fun. The kids love setting up their cars to watch the monster truck show on the stands. It is a little hard to get the monster tuck to hit the Gorilla but they eventually get it. They think it’s so funny how he crashes into the audience. The best part for them is the details of the gorilla underwear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not your typical hot wheel set [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not your typical hot wheel track set. You have to launch the cars into the tire that the big monster is holding using the catapult. It wasn’t difficult building it, adults need to snap the pieces together for little ones without finger strength. It kept my boy entertained for hours during the lazy hot summer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 100 stars! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son said he would like to give this “100 stars”! Not too hard to put together and my 6 year-old put most of it together by himself. I do dread putting all the stickers on but there weren’t too many and they were all clearly labeled. Cleverly designed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Different [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This car/truck set is very different. My son loves to try and defeat the monster by launching trucks at it. It is larger than expected and doesn't really break down easily, but that is not an issue for him as he keeps it assembled in his room.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cool idea. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a cool "idea" and i can see how it would be fun. However, I wouldnt buy it. The instructions were very confusing. And it almost seems impossible to hit the target to make it exciting. Im not really a huge fan of this one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great playset! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Awesome playset!! This playset held my sons attention for hours. He loves trying to shoot the trucks through the wheel. It also came with a truck he didn't have so that was a huge hit! Very easy to assemble.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Interesting toy, but not right for everybody [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son found this fun, however it did not hold his interest for a very long time. There are multiple ways to llay with it and he enjoyed having the monkey guy eat the cars and then smash the monster truck into it. I found he did not use the monster truck launchers all that much, instead he would just use his hands to push his truck around. He enjoyed making the monkey fall onto the stadium seats and crash. I noticed that it was difficult to get the truck to launch through the tire unless either launcher was pushed just right, which led to some frustration for my son. Also putting the stadium seats back together so they sit just right was sometimes a challenge for him. As far as from a parent stand point of putting it together, i felt the instructions could have been a little more detailed. Sometimes trying to figure out what the picture meant as far as where something went was not the easiest. Overall i believe it is a good product, just not necessarily the best playset for the monster trucks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lots of interactive fun [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Arena Smasher's Mega-Wrex vs. Crushzilla Takedown. This toy arrived in a colorful, eye catching box. Mega- Wrex is visibly located in the front of the box, thus enticing my son to open it up and play! The graphics on the packaging appeal to my children and they were squealing with excitement to open it up. The Crushzilla part with all the track and stand for other trucks, came in many pieces. Although, it is not really difficult to assemble, it is a little bit time consuming. So the kids had to practice patience while I read the instructions and put it together. There are several sticker decals to apply. This is not difficult and the graphics look nice. This toy has several areas to drive the trucks over. There are two launching stations where you drive the truck on and try to launch it through a plastic tire that Crushzilla holds. When he is hit with the monster truck, he springs backwards and crashes into the stands behind him. If you have several other trucks placed in the stands, they will all fall and crash through. My kids love a big crash like that. You can “feed” the plastic “smashed” cars in his mouth and he has a hatch behind him that releases the crushed cars and they slide down the ramp. I like that you can launch trucks from multiple areas. You have several ramps to drive over, and the stands to place more trucks or cars. A giant gorilla figure looks fierce and my son loves that. The Mega- Wrex is a classic, well made monster truck. Very colorful and appealing to kids.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for your monster truck and hotwheel lover! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Arena Smashers™ Mega-Wrex vs. Crushzilla Takedown™ was a huge hit with my sons. My 5 year old in particular. It took us about 35 minutes to put together. We had to figure out some of the many ways you can play with this set, it can be difficult for my 5 year old in some ways but my 8 and 9 year old sons were easily able to figure out how to use it in every way possible. The stadium can go down in the back after being hit, which my 5 year old thought meant it broke. But, the overall layout makes it easier to "make believe" than to accomplish some of the physical aspects of design. My sons were able to stack hotwheels cars on the back stadium seating and had fun launching the monster trucks from side to side. Unfortunately the monster trucks were too big. Also when it came to the truck going to his mouth, the mouth isnt big enough so it bounces off. I definitely feel like the product is fun and enjoyable, however I do think there is more to be desired. The idea is great, the look is awesome the humor in the bottom is funny, but the execution I think needs a little more. I wouldnt agree with ages 4 and up although I wanna say ages 4 to 6 is when monster trucks are most popular. Not that a 4 year old would be in danger at all, I just feel it would be a harder use for a 4 year old. Ages 5 and up may be more appropriate. My 5 year old son seemed to struggle to use it the way it was intended and didnt understand why he couldnt put the monster truck in the Crushzilla mouth. Not being able to get a truck through the top by flinging it from the side. The ramp in the front doesn't really lead to anything, so you really just knock into him. But all and all he loved playing with it. My 8 and 9 year old enjoyed playing with it with him for a short time. They all thought it was cool and funny.

The packaging of this toy is super cool and eye catching! My son could not wait to open it and see the “Crush-Zilla.” It comes with Mega-Wrex and it is easy to get out of the box so my son was able to play with it while we put the track together. The track came in several pieces and had lots of stickers that needed to be put on. My 10 year old was able to easily follow the instructions and put the track together in around 10 minutes. The stickers were a little challenging for him. The details of the track are really nice. The track has several interactive features that are really fun for all ages. My boys had a really fun time trying to get the monster trucks to fly through the wheel. My youngest loved that all his other monster trucks could sit in the “arena” and boy was he surprised with the CrushZilla took them out!! It comes with 2 colorful smashed cars that can be fed in the gorilla’s mouth. There is a door in the back of his head you can take them out of. There are several ramps that you can also drive the monster trucks on. Overall, this is a really great Hot Wheels Monster Truck track! This toy arrived in a colorful, eye catching box.
