Cute but challenging
My 9 year old loved the koala design, texture of the string, and that the eyes were easy to snap in. Struggled with the technique, fraying string, and the stitches pulling out easily if you were not careful. Definitely requires lots of patience and drive to get to the end product! I think it may be better suited for someone a bit older who has that skill set and maturity.

A fun and adorable project
It took a little bit of time to get into good latching groove because I seem to have 10 thumbs whenever I try a new textile craft project, but I got it and once my koala started filling out, I did not want to stop!
Adorable, soft and a great project to do to help wind.
The project does take more time than most, so give yourself some patience and time to get her done.
The practice heart was a wonderful addition to the kit to help with kicking off the project on a good start.

The cuteness!
So first of all, this is so much cuter than the latch kits I learned on as a child. The colors are really nice, and my 8 year old daughter was thrilled when she received this as a gift. The heart that you start with is really nice to learn on, and is a special touch to be kept inside. My daughter also stores a couple secret items inside the completed bear. The only complaint is that he is not truly usable as a stuffed animal, but storing items inside seems to make up for this in the eyes of my daughter.

Time and patience for the best koala
Koala of cuteness! If you are a yarn latching pro, you will find this project to be an easy creation to make and enjoy. If you are a novice like me, you will want to grab an artistic friend and let go of perfection. After a few false starts, I was able to get into a flow to make my koala slightly different than the directions. The included heart is an easy start and clips into the inside of the koala. The koala takes awhile to create so important to allot extra time and start stops.

Love the way it looks !
The directions were easy to follow and we love how you can practice with the little heart shape provided ! At first it was a little hard for my daughter to do but once she got the hang of it , she had fun and loves her purple Koala ! It definitely looks so cute and it's so soft . . We definitely recommend this product if you love craft projects like these, keep in mind that it takes time to practice and to complete!

Cute idea!
This is the cutest little product. I love the idea of making a stuffed animal! The instructions were clear, but this isn't something a child could do even with help, this is really a grown up gift! Like if you needle point, crochet this is for you. The project probably takes 20 hours to do! But the quality of the product- needles, form, yarn is really solid!

Cute bedtime friend
My daughter loved the look of the koala and couldn't wait until she had a cute animal to snuggle in bed with. It is a nice project for a girl that is in 5th to 8th grade I would say. It takes a bit to get the method down, but if you follow the tips in the directions, it should be easy to complete. Such a nice product to have the family work on as well.

Cute!
This koala is both cute and challenging! It has adorable snap-on eyes and a snap-together body with a sweet heart charm to put inside. The colors are beautiful and it comes with everything you need, plus lots of extra yarn. The looping technique takes awhile to get the hang of. This is definitely a long-term project that takes time and practice.
