Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great set This set is great. It includes builds of the National Gallery, Nelson's Column, Big Ben, the London Eye & Tower Bridge on a base plate. The set looks really good but is only for display, not to be played with really. I think the inclusion of a small boat under Tower Bridge is nice. The instruction book includes pictures and information about each of the landmarks and is higher quality than normal books. I think the price is a bit too high but the set looks great and I highly recommend this to people who love LEGO & London. This is my first Architecture set and I enjoyed building it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Missing a piece This was my first architecture build. I got it for Christmas. It took me ages to build and was so hard. It was missing a brick (still don’t know where it is. This piece was the same color as the carpet I was building it on). I replaced it with a random red piece after searching everywhere. It’s very pretty for a desk. I put it on mine. This set is fun for backgrounds of cities. Since I’m more of a playable sets kind of person this did not really stand out. Before I moved it to my desk it was on my table behind the LEGO Harry Potter stuff. Took me a while to get this review in I’m sorry but I like this set.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like it, but..... I was very excited to finally see a London Skyline set as I love the way LEGO cleverly interpret landmarks using simple elements while maintaining the essence of the landmarks. A few things irked me though. I didn't like the grey connector at the top of the Eye, this spoils the look for me and would have been better in white. The capsules of the Eye I think could have been interpreted a bit better using cylindrical/ dome elements. The clear tiles are just ok. Nelson's column would have been nice in grey too as it's definitely not white in reality. All that said however, it's a nice little set, but London is big place and definitely would need a 2nd or 3rd iteration to capture the real variety of architecture we have here.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from London Bridge is not falling down Okay..... I have to share my excitement here. I gave this London Architecture set to my 88 year old Father! He had never done a Lego set before but I thought it might be fun for him and to commemorate a trip to London we went on together. This is his response to me when he finished putting it together: "A fabulous exercise... can you see Nelson on his pedestal? .. can you see the sailboat under the bridge? The bridge does open and close... can you see the time on Big Ben? ... amazing detail and a challenge to put together but fun!" .. Thank you again for making an amazing set that spans all ages.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Set with Great Detail This was my first lego set that I have done since I was under the age of 12. This was a gift from my girlfriend for Christmas and after I started building it I was immediately hooked on legos again! This set was really cool for me because I wasn't building something to play with I was building something to have for display. Its great for myself and others to admire the great details that went into devolving this set that replicate an actual place in this world. I have never been to London but really want to visit but am familiar with the historic sites that were used in this build. My only complaint with this build is I wish the Ferris Wheel actually moved. Other than that I would def recommend to anyone!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Design This is my first Lego architecture line (a gift from a close relative), and as a Brit I'm jolly pleased to have received a cityscape of London. The design is a smart, delicate, well thought-through build to a Lego architecture set. The shapes and subtle colour schemes of the miniature buildings balance with each other perfectly. To achieve such detail on a remarkably small-scale is very impressive. Whilst the majority of the build was relatively straight forward, I found the building of the London Eye to be most tricky in terms of achieving symmetry with the 'pods' around the wheel. It's a clever design but the wheel does tend to wobble around a lot if being moved. But as it's a display piece I don't think this really matters. It's worth remembering though, that although this set is designed for observation rather than 'play', the build can be dismantled at your discretion so you can make other things with the available bricks - it is Lego after all! In conclusion this is a wonderful, impressively splendid model perfect for display.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another great set for the Architecture line! Fun little set with some clever design features here. I especially like this set because of the landmarks chosen... In a city with tons to pick from, these were the ones that really stuck with me after visiting London a couple years ago. A great trip, and now a great set to remind me of it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool Set! Being my first Lego in many years, I enjoyed it very much. The instructions were clear and I didn't want to stop once I started. I think it's a great landmark and Lego was in line. The only area to improve I'd suggest is the top of the wheel as it's not very rounded and the colour is questionable. Overall, great set and very pleasant experience. Looking forward to my next set!
