Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looking statue, face is a let down however. The build of the pedestal is very repetitive and wasn’t really fun as everything had to be done 4 times because it’s 4 sides. However, it’s very detailed, even the statue. The folds in the clothes, the crown, the right leg, the torch, all very nice, except for the face, which is a let down, being just one shield piece. Swapped some of the parts from the back of the dress to get the face more convex and the T-shape between the pieces suggest brow and centerline of face. The chin is subtly squared off, which is better. It’s not a huge improvement, but it’s better. I’ve seen other mods that give the face a nose, but it looks like a Moai head statue, lol.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Statue This is one of my top 3 builds. It has a lot of ways to make you think. All of the pieces fit perfect. The platform is very sturdy and a little repetitive, but nothing like the empire state building. I would recommend this build to a historian, decorative item for living area. The great thing about this item besides the look is the book. All of the information on the history is a great way for parents to teach their kids. Only one draw back, the face but can't notice away only up close. Pros Great instructions Has some difficulty but not impossible. Great learning tool Looks amazing Cons The face, but can be fixed

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Detail At first I was a little disappointed to see the Statue of Liberty being made into a set again, since she’s been represented in sets before, but the unique details of this one make it stand out and love it as much as the original set from the early 2000s. Though small, the details are great, especially in the flow of the statue’s clothes and the stone look of the pedestal. It is easy to make mistakes on this set, since there are so many little pieces, especially when working in the statue portion, but it’s worth it. She looks great beside the original and holds her own with the smooth look and use of the pedestal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Actually a beautiful face! Much has been said about the need for a “facelift” on this model, but I think the “blank” face actually works really well - gives this more of a LEGO feel and looks much better than the pictures otherwise suggest. The build experience with this one is a great challenge and a lot of fun: really need to pay attention with all those small green pieces! I’ve built (too) many sets over last six months (have become addicted to LEGO), from the Colosseum and Taj Mahal to the UCS Millennium Falcon and Disney Castle; they are all awesome but the Statue of Liberty is the one getting most of the comments from friends and family. It also looks great displayed next to Empire State Builiding!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lady liberty at her finest As Architecture sets go this one really is a true testament to how far the theme has come in recent years. The details on this beautiful set are absolutely incredible! And the size of the structure is decent too. Also some of the techniques used to construct the set are very very impressive, there's alot of repitition building in the plinth section but that is to be expected given the source material. And the inclusion of so many new pieces in sand green is going to be a huge bonus to many MOC Fans out there. I applaud the design crew who worked on this beautiful work of art. My advice to anybody that is going to build this is simply to take your time, as when you are constructing lady liberty it is easy to lose track and make a small mistake here and there.. don't rush the build just do it at your leisure and enjoy it. Nice one Lego.. you've done it again

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It looks really nice, a great display piece I saw this was available and felt it would make a great addition to the growing Lego display of places around the world. I think it should have had a sticker with Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. It really does need that. This is a really nice set and I have it by my door welcoming people to my home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Showpiece! Exceptional design and a great build with creative techniques. Scale & size are very impressive for the Architecture series. Lego has done it again and designed a true showpiece perfect for any living room or office!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Perfect proportions and lots of detail I love New York City and had always regretted not having purchased the original Statue of Liberty set back in 2002 when I was working there, but to be honest I think this set is better and although much smaller than the previous one it looks more accurate and also features the stone pedestal which is beautifully detailed, particularly the quoins down the corners. The use of the incised brick pattern 2x1 bricks really adds to the fine detail and clever off setting of the levels of the pedestal give it a fine profile. There's a bit of repetition, the elements are so small you quickly put them together, though they are fiddly for bigger fingers. You need to pay attention when making some of the folding fabric sections and there are a lot of left and right handed 2x1 curved sections so I'd suggest sorting them out first. One minor thing is the lack of Lady Liberty's face, but a 'dreaded sticker' in this instance would have been inappropriate. It's a lovely set and an impressive height.
