Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent first Lego set! My husband and I are long-time Lego lovers, and are so pleased with our selection of this set for our almost-4 year old’s first “little” legos! The instructions are well designed for pre-readers. Enough steps to interest and challenge, but quick enough to be rewarding. Great fine motor skill building and fun to play with when completed! He’s currently discovering the joy of rebuilding it into something of his own design :)

It is sure to please any child who has a love for building and a love for trucks. Once constructed it has nice details to spur the imagination. The two workers that are included have a shovel, jackhammer, and wheelbarrow to use. The cement mixer turns and even dispenses toy cement. This set thoroughly entertains my son!

We have moved on from the larger Legos and now he likes these sets where he can build it as a project and then play with it afterwards. This one required my help but he was able to do it on his own with direction. He loved it and now he can play with it as an actual toy. Once put together it stays together well.

He worked diligently and carefully constructing this little truck. The instructions were easy for him to follow and he was so happy making this Lego set. We love Lego in this house! Great set for a beginner builder.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great for little kids This is a age 4+ set. I love how they make the instruction easy to read for little kids. My 3.5 year old had no trouble finding the correct number of pieces. With red outlines it's also easy to put them at the right place. When you turns the drum, cement pieces will actually come out of the drum, super fun to play with. We love this set!

It comes with the Cement Mixer Truck plus two LEGO Workers. You cant go wrong with picking up LEGO set in general, and you certainly cant go wrong with getting this kit for your little one!!!
