Simple Build, you’ll need more track
Yes, I gave this 5 stars, because no train set ever stands alone. Any avid train model user will always need more track, more decorative pieces and lots of imagination and story line.
In my photos, you would see that my 2 train LEGO train set runs through 5 villages. Starting from the train platform and going counterclockwise, you will encounter Corporate Center, Ferris Fair Grounds, Holiday Center, Jurassic World, Camping World and back to the platform.
Charge up your imagination, sound your horns of thoughts and get to loving trains!

Something special. They did good on this one
Ever since I was a kid I wanted a Lego train set. Ever since I’ve started to get adult money there haven’t been many with the pizzazz that caught the eye of younger me like the emerald night or horizon express. That is until now. This baby is it. Low slung fast looking and the brick-built arrow on the engine is sick. The green glow from the rear of the running locomotive is a awesome touch in the dark. Oh yea it’s got headlights too.

good Christmas present
I bought this train set for my 6 year-old as a Christmas gift and he's been having lots of fun with it ever since. He was able to build it mostly on his own without too much help from me except for connecting the motor and cables for the lights. He loves the lights and using the remote control for the speed of the train! We've only had it derail once so far even despite his various scenarios involving speeding trains and collisions with things. One minor issue is that it seemed like we received an incorrect part for building the boarding platform, but we've requested the missing piece and it hasn't affected our ability to play with it

Feature filled train
This is a very nice train. The passenger and dining cars are very feature rich with lots of play options for kids. Despite the size of the set, it builds quickly and is very enjoyable. The length of each of the cars makes for a very long train overall which results in a tendency to slow down on curved sections of a layout.

Great train
This is a Great train set. The train is nice looking, I think they wanted to make a city version of the horizon express, with similar build and shape. The train itself was easy to build and was fun. The features are basic but work for the train. The minifigures are fine, not my favorite but overall it’s a great train though I think Lego needs to take a step back and try something new for next years trains. While both trains this year were good, I think Lego should do some research and make some more locomotives from around the world, I wish they went back to more diverse train roots, but overall I think this train is nice and if you want a train it’s worth having to add or making it your first if you are a new collector.

Lego Train
I bought this to add a train to my city’s empty tracks I have going through it. I love the colors used on this train, they’re much sharper when built than how it looks on the box. I’m not a fan of the front of the engine, but I’m well aware these are designed in Europe, so I expect the nose of the engine to look like this. I did replace the front headlights with different colored bricks because I wasn’t a fan of the blueish color, as seen in the photos. All in all, a pretty good set.

Ok Build
Not the best train set I've seen from Lego. The doors on the passenger cars are awful. They pop open on their own during operation. I had to tape them shut. Also, the front end of the train is long and will hit the wall if your track runs against the wall of your home. Finally the passenger cars sit super close to the track, Although that effect looks great, they will scrape the track if your track isn't on a completely flat surface, which is my current issue as I'm using the train around my Christmas tree. Overall 5/10 build.
