Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE this toy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely a great toy for a toddler. My daughter is 19 months old. We received this in the mail 3 days ago, she has spent hours each day playing with it. She really enjoys peekaboo right now and so the barn doors hiding the discs is a huge laugh for her every time she uses it. She carries it around the house to show everyone how it works. I love the fact that it keeps her entertained. It's really really good quality and the wood is strong but light weight enough for her to carry around. This is a 10 out of 10 product I will be recommending to my friends with kids!

At this stage, she really enjoys playing with wooden toys and anything farm themed. The quality wood and beautiful detailed barn design makes me love having this toy on our shelf too. My daughter loves the cause and effect aspect of this toy. As well as the predicable/unpredictable ways that the wooden coins can fall down the slots. She enjoys opening and closing a lever that traps and releases the animals. Watching the wooden coins hit each other and roll away. As well as opening and closing the barn doors. I love that there is storage in the back for the wooden coins.

My son who is almost 2 has not put down this toy for 3 days now. He loves the carrying handle and it's perfect size for him to carry around and play. There are multiple paths for the small wooden disks to roll down. I feel like this will help develop his hand eye coordination. There are 4 discs and each one has a different design on each side. I will definitely be looking for more Melissa and Doug products in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 1 year old daughter is in love with her Melissa & Doug Barnyard, 1- Easy to play. 2- The Barnyard takes her attention because every time she's playing I put the Old McDonald had a farm video and she loves seeing the animals pretty close to her. 3- She laughs every time she rolls the wood coins in the farm and started trying to match the picture of the wood coin with the one on the Barnyard. 4- Hailey approves Melissa & Doug Barnyard 100%.

It is great for perfecting fine motor skills! It's bright colors and cute animal designs are attractive to small children. My son loves watching the discs roll out from the barn! I received this as a free promotion from Bzzagent but I would've bought it for him! It's well made and structurally sound. It is a great toy for kids from 12 mths up!

We are big on Montessori learning and this toy is perfect for engaging toddlers in play and learning. Some benefits to this product are, kids can learn their animals and play pretend on a farm. It is very portable and can be taken on the go. I would definitely buy this product and recommend others to as well! We love Melissa & Doug toys.

My children are 16 months and 6 and they both enjoyed this toy. My toddler really enjoyed the cause and effect of the animal coming down.I could see her small motor skills improving as she continued to maneuver them into their correct spots. The reason I chose 4 stars is because sometimes they get stuck and she can't quite do the lever

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for toddlers! My 15-month-old granddaughter loves this toy! We gave it to her for her first birthday and it is amazing to watch how her skills have improved. She needed help to insert the discs when she first received the toy but now, she is able to insert them in the various places, open the doors, lift the latch etc. She will sit on the floor and play independently for quite a long time. I would highly recommend this for a toddler gift.
