Awkward
I bought this after reading good reviews on-line. In realty it is a little awkward, it is easiest to use this product by sitting it on a table in front of you but in reality kids are going to be tying their shoes from behind. The instructions I found confusing and I know how to tie my shoe laces, so they were disregarded which was annoying as I was hoping for help or a simple diagram that would help make it easier to teach my children the process of tying laces.

I would buy this product again
This product is awesome! I am currently teaching my 5y/o how to tie her shoes; She absolutely loves the fact that she has a big boot to learn how to tie her shoes. The instructions come with the boot and my daughter will try to look at the pictures to help her along when I am not able to assist her.

Dont waste your money!
Just wash Daddy's tennis shoes and let your child practice on a more realistic model. My 2.5YO did not like this at all.

I would buy this product again.
I bought this for my 3 year old granddaughter for Christmas this year. I am sure she will love it. i grew up with a flat wooden shoe from my kindergarten teacher and thought this would be great for her to learn how to tie her show,

Great idea
I haven’t given this to my grandson yet but I think this will be the best gift I purchased this year! It is more sturdy and heavier then trying to use a flimsy real shoe and he is not getting it so far. Think his will work great.

Good teaching tool
Love the concept of the wooden lacing shoes, but would like to suggest maybe a shoe with laces that have two different colors to help with learning how to tie shoes in a clearer way.
