Great for individual play
Upon receiving this, my 6 year old granddaughter named all the horses and phonetically wrote them above each stall. So cute! I like the fact that each horse is a different breed with the picture and characteristics of that breed on the bottom of the stable. Wonderfully educational! I want to add that one of the horses would not stand up properly so I called the company and without hesitation they are sending out a replacement horse. Great customer service.

Terrible Assembly
My daughter is a horse lover and was so excited to receive this as a gift for Christmas. She took off the packaging and named the horses. She was so proud and carried the stable by the handle into the kitchen to show me. She held it up to show me and Bam! It snapped off the handle and fell to the floor. My daughter burst into tears! It is so poorly put together! Very cheap assembly! I tried to submit a pic with this review but it won't let me.

I will use the site again for sure.
Unfortunately, this was purchased as a Christmas gift for a little nephew, and he hasn't seen it yet or had a chance to play with it. My 5 star review is based on the condition and appearance of the Play Set and especially how quickly it was delivered. Also, your website is very easy to navigate and place an order. Good site!

I became familiar with Melissa and Doug toys when I was a substitute teacher for an early child intervention program. I realized that the Melissa and Doug toys were very durable and had educational value. Now I am purchasing Melissa and Doug toys for my grandchildren. Sturdy, wood toys that will last for generations!

Excellent toy!
I love the stable and so does my daughter! We even had her name put on it to make it extra special. She is bummed because the dog ate one of her horses. So my question is, can you buy the horses somewhere individually? If not, we can just place a different horse in its spot but just wanted to make sure before hand.

I would buy this again.
My granddaughter loves horses. She is three years old and got this set for Christmas. She just loves it however she was heart broken when the puppy got one of the horses and chewed it. Is there anyway I can get the light brown horse with the light reddish brown mane and tale? Thank you.
