My inner child is in love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Naturalistas Fashion Doll: Liya a few weeks ago. Upon receiving Liya, I was immediately impressed and in love. Liya has beautiful black type 4c hair. The hair is soft, long, and feels like real type 4 hair. Her hair is full, nicely packed and easy to style. She also comes with her heels and purse. My little one loves her just as much as I do and decided to keep her stationed in her Barbie Dreamhouse instead of her toy box. I definitely plan on getting the others as well

Great for imaginative play
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] She loves playing dolls in her house. Super cute and love her hair. Leaves her for hours of imaginative play which is way better than sitting on a video game. She uses all the stuff she has from her other dolls and right now she's driving around in a pink car. Enjoying her life.

Beautiful reinforcement for black girls.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this product for a few weeks and I am so happy that I got it. It is so hard to find black dolls that look like real black skin, instead of black crayons. This doll is absolutely gorgeous! In fact, I would have loved owning one as a kid. My daughter adores her and especially loves her hair because it looks like hers. She also likes the fact that her hair is out, so she could change the styles each day. The doll also has hips and a bottom which I thought was genius, since most dolls are skinny and straight; a shape most black people do not have. The one area for improvement though, is the type of dress the doll wore. I think for all the positive imagery the doll showed, it would have been nice to see her dressed well. Her dress was not only short but scanty. For the target demographic of toddler girls, this was inappropriate. Despite that, I do think this brand does a good job highlighting black women and their ethnicity in a positive way.

Beautiful!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Liya is a beautiful fashion doll. She is tall with a luscious mane. Her outfit is a shimmery blue with a matching clutch. Liya looks like she’s ready for a night out. My little girl loved the fullness of her hair. Great doll!
