Endless adventure with technical design/color
I loved my first spirograph, spending hours working the basic gear and ring designs using principles of design and math I hadn't been introduced to, yet. I also had to learn to search for usable substitutes because I lost pens, and pins, wanted different ink colors, different kinds of paper or surfaces and new glossy white corrugated boards. As an adult, I appreciate the combined elements of art and science. For the addicted spirograph user, I advise purchasing a second set of paper putty, drawing paper, card stock or index card weighted paper, more pens with the 1.0 mm or less point in multicolor packs of felt tip markers and fast drying gel inks. Keep practicing!

Just gave to my grandson yesterday as an early Christmas gift. The putty was completely dried out and it crumbled. We tried to fix it but we could not...it was old, dry and a waste. Who gives 1inch of dried putty to use. Honestly.! I am very disappointed . I am not new to spirograph...my children had it as did I...... need your help to fix this please

CREATIVE artistic STEM Toy
I had as a kid, myself always wanted one of these... so I bought one for my niece. SHE LOVES IT. inspiring creativity, attention to detail, and a wonderful introduction to number theory. Also an excellent gateway to computer graphics programming, an excellent tech-dad gift for a budding STEM Star.

Remembered this from my childhood. Bought it for grandkids.
The original version that i had had a ring that was much larger than the ones that came with this set. Wish the putty did a better job or that ther was a better way to hold things in place.

Always A Great Product. Dates back to the 1960's.
For my granddaughters a return to yesteryear. This was and is a great creative pastime for children with or without the pandemic.
