Lovely toy after mama-improvements
My son loved the fox from the first look, it is cute and colorful, plastic makes it light and durable, and it gives a good scale of sounds. The cord is indeed a joke, not clear that the designers were thinking, as a child cannot even reach all notes with it! Nevertheless, very easy to disconnect: just attach your own cord of a normal length. The foxy is maybe less presentable this way, but let producers save money on the ropes ;)

Choking hazard!
The mallot on this toy can get lodged in your child’s throat! My child was playing with this and put the mallot in her mouth for a good chew and it was stuck in her throat. Please make your mallot safer for children to use I almost lost my daughter from this toy.

Love this Xylo!
We just received this as a gift and I can not say enough good things about it. The rope is the perfect length to reach all of the notes. Both of my little ones love to play this and we never lose the mallet. We had another xylophone from a large toy brand - but the mallet was a hammer and we constantly had an issue with booboos and many days we just couldn't find it. My son loves using this as a pull toy also - overall, extremely well made and we love this toy.

Cute and fun
Our son seems to love playing with the xylophone toys at his daycare so we were looking for one to have at home. His playroom has a lot of the SkipHop woodland animal things in it already so this fox fit right in. It's cute and he loves to play with it!

Such a great Christmas gift!
Wonderful sound, bright, vibrant, beautiful colors, easy to grab mallet, it’s awesome! My daughter just loves it! In hindsight, maybe I should have waited until she was sitting more reliably to give it to her, though. She gets so excited that she falls over, sometimes right on top of it!

I agree with the other review that the cord is way too short. Another couple inches would be great! My daughter is happy with it, and that’s what matters. She loves the Ferguson Fox line! I wish there were clothes as well.

My baby loves it
So my little baby nugget used to bang whatever he found around. This xylophone is super adorable and he loves playing with it. I personally love how it is helping him develop his rhythm and musical skills.

Everything toddler likes...music/WHEELS/pull-along
Love the skip hop family of animals and we needed a xylophone for my toddler but the best part isxhe loves wheels/cars and this fox having wheels is perfect...added bonus being able to pull alound somewhat...yes cord a bit short but perhaps done for safety of children....under supervision it's easy to tue a longer cord to that string for pulling purpose otherwise great musical sound!!!

Keys don't make good sound!
The construction quality of this toy is very, very good.the only problem with this toy is that when you hit the keys they don't resonate at all.some resonate a little bit but most of the keys are stuck this seems to be the case with all of them not just one bad toy.it's probably an easy fix for the engineers but the fact that they let so many go on the market that's troubling.

Adorable and fun!

(Not to mention chewing on the mallet, haha!) I see her using this for years to come! It’s very sturdy and well-made and the little fox is so much cuter than other xylophones out there.

Love this fox!
I love this toy, my son has used it a lot, I agree with some of the reviews that the cord is very short, but my kid has managed to play with it, he doesn't walk yet so has not try to walked with it, but it will be an issue when he tries to pull it. (Will worry of that later on). Right know my son enjoys it a lot.

Perfect for your little ones!

Off tune
I bought this a few months ago and there sure is quality issues. The one we received is off tune and we cannot adjust the few metal plates to tune them. We stopped letting our son play with toy because my eye started twitching when he would play with it and it was off tune. Cute toy otherwise.

My nephew loved it!!

Cute xylophone, but...
I bought this for my daughter for her first birthday. It’s an adorable xylophone and my daughters enjoy the sounds, but the string that keeps the mallet attached is soo short that it’s awkward to play. Slight design flaw on an otherwise great toy!

fun toy - can be a little bit better
cute and fun toy. the string is a little short. the bars are not equally spaced and are not at the same height (only slightly off though). still it is a fun and colorful toy for baby.
