Great idea but way too messy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love this play set, but the amount of mess the slime made was not worth it!!
The play set itself is cute. It has a volcano feature and you can have the slime ooze out to make the volcano erupt. The way the slime sticks to the top really does look like lava! My sons really enjoyed experimenting with getting the slime out (and the noises it made really gave them a laugh).
Let’s get to the slime- oh my gosh what a mess!!! It is incredibly sticky. Hard to get off hands, clothes, the table and even the toy itself. It took the clean up process five times longer than playtime. I would recommend a different brand of slime- or possibly even regular play doh!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids love dinosaurs and volcanos and slime so this seemed like the perfect kit. Unfortunately the slime was the messiest slime and it got everywhere and stuck to everything. I have 3 kids, 9,7,and 5 and I thought they could all enjoy the kit together but it was really more of a one person play kit and once the slime is used, it's done. Usually with Play Doh kits my kids can play with them over and over and that unfortunately wasn't the case with this kit.

mediocore play set
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My child wasn't too impressed with this play-doh lava island. She was expecting something easier to use. I was expecting something with play-doh. This set comes with slime. My daughter plays with the slime, but not the set. The slime was difficult to use as it was intended. It gets stuck in the volcano area and the slime doesn't fill the dinosaur mold very easily. I would only recommend this for kids who are really into volcanos or dinosaurs.

SO Fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both my 11 and 7 yo really love it. It comes with several Doh-dohs, so more than one kid can play with it & not fight over it. It has several areas to squeeze the playdoh through & a bonus for little ones is the Doh-dohs are mostly plastic so they can play like the big kids. The new play-doh is so much easier to clean than the playdoh I grew up with & it is softer, not so hard to use.

So much fun!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was right in the mark for my little guy! Play Doh is always fun, but the texture of this set was just gross enough for my little guy to really love. The set itself seems a high quality and durable plastic that I haven’t seen in other sets. Should stand up to rough play! Cleaning was good with the included “clean up” piece. This has become a favorite play set recently.

Fun, Kids Love It
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed with the Play-Doh Slime Lava Island. It exceeded my expectations and the expectations of my children as well. They had a blast with the slime, and played with the Lava Island for hours. It was fun seeing the volcano erupt with slime and the T-Rex getting filled as well. The slime was a great twist from a trusted and respected brand such as Play-Doh.

Love the Volcano
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter loves volcanoes, when she opened this set her eyes lit up. When she found out it also involves Play-Doh, she was even happier. It was a lot of fun opening the eggs to find what was inside and the volcano was easy to use and is neat to watch. I will definitely recommend this playset to my friends and family!

So much fun!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is so fun to still be playing with Play-Doh after all these years. My kids love it just as much as I do!
This Lava Island was so much fun. We played for hours. Honestly you can't go wrong with any of their products. I like that this set was simple and fun.
