Easy assembly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son considered this an early gift from Santa. He was so excited, he started assembling it himself (he’s 8)! The assembly instructions arent very helpful, it’s pretty much picture instructions. Luckily it was pretty self explanatory and the package had a clear picture of it. Once assembled you can have sonic slide around the loop and when he lands at the bottom, you press the button and egg man “explodes”. My son thinks it pretty cool and he seems to really enjoy it. He wants it to be battery powered so sonic can loop oh his own but other than that, no complaints! Happy kid!

A tribute to the most memorable levels
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With meticulous attention to detail, the playset re-creates the foreboding atmosphere of Dr. Robotnik’s lair. The construction is solid, with high-quality plastic that resists wear and tear, ensuring that it can withstand enthusiastic play. Interactive features such as a trap doors and a detachable EggMobile, add an engaging layer of playability. While primarily a fantastic piece for collectors due to its faithful rendition and display-worthy design, it’s also robust enough to be enjoyed by younger fans as they reenact their favorite Sonic battles. The assembly process is straightforward though some smaller pieces may require adult so supervision.

Fun for a short time
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this Sonic Death egg playset complimentary in return of an honest review. My boys, ages 9, 6 and 2 are Sonic fans and were SUPER excited to get this toy in the mail. We had to put the toy together, but it came together pretty easily (no tools needed.) They played with it for a little bit, but became bored with the track and the Dr Robotnik part and just played around with the Sonic character. They did look for it again first thing the next day and played with it again, but now its just been hanging around untouched. The look is pretty cool with the dome part being Dr Robotniks face and this toy would be a good display for a diehard Sonic fan!

No very fun
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The instruction were not the greatest for putting this together, and there isn’t a whole lot that goes on with this. I thought maybe it would be something where sonic zooms around in circles, especially based on the packaging, and that it would be mor fun to play with. However, as you can see from the video it doesn’t do a whole lot. You push a button and it lifts sonic up into Robotniks vehicle and it falls apart. All in all I am glad I did not really purchase this item.

Cute Idea but assembly instructions were unclear and it gets boring quick
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so first impression after getting this product to review: I did not expect it to be this big! It says 2.5" with a few small figures but this was a huge box with a big set to assemble (see photos). The assembly instructions are completely unclear and are basically just pictures with arrows which made it pretty difficult to put together. My 4 year old enjoys it but it's not an automatic motion toy at all. You have to push Sonic to move him around the track and then push the button to activate the "explosion" when he's under the villain. Underwhelming. You also have to continuously put Sonic back on the track, which my kid can't do themselves so that's my job.. every 10 seconds! It's a good idea for a toy but I think it could have been executed much better.

My son love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves this! He’s a huge Sonic fan and is such a good kid, so I decided to surprise him with it yesterday, and it did not disappoint. He said it’s easy to put together. He likes to display all his different Sonic sets on a huge bookshelf, so I can’t speak to how it holds up with constant play, but when I played with it for a minute, it didn’t seem super fragile like some of the other Sonic sets I’ve purchased

So fun!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little playset was easy to put together! The instructions were picture instructions but honestly didn’t help much. It was pretty intuitive. It’s so much fun to slam on the button and destroy dr egg man! I love that sonic can go both ways on the track. It’s also very nice that it doesn’t need batteries to be played with. It was a little nostalgic for me as a mom but still new and blast for my 7 year old.

Sonic Death Egg
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a cute toy for any Sonic fan. The problem is, there are minimal instructions to put together and that makes it a little difficult. I also had a hard time snapping in the bottom track piece for Sonic to slide on. This means that he didn’t launch around the egg like he was supposed to. I think the toy can use some improvement but it is a cool concept and much bigger than I thought it would be.
