Wonderful Down's syndrome Inclusive Doll!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I'd like to say thank you Mattel for creating this inclusive doll. I was so excited to give this doll to my niece as she is in school with a friend that has Down's syndrome. She absolutely loves this doll and was excited to share a play date with her friend. The girls played with this doll for hours on end and enjoyed the fact that she did not look like all the other stereotypical Barbie dolls. The girls were able to have their Barbies act out actual days that they have experienced because the dolls resembled them in real life. It was such a joy to see how happy they both were to be able to play with this inclusive doll.

Happy tears
I didn’t think I would be crying about a Barbie when I woke up this morning, but here we are. My daughter with Ds isn’t quite old enough to play with a Barbie, but I ordered two for her (we all know the first one gets destroyed) and one for her cousin. I am so happy she will know what it’s like to have a doll that looks like her! Inclusion and representation mean the world to us. I was going to share a link for others to buy, but it looks like it is already sold out! This is amazing, and I hope with this demand more are released.

Great job with inclusion Barbie!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love, love, LOVE the inclusion Barbie is introducing with this doll. As someone with a disability myself, I think it is refreshing to see dolls that reflect the children that may be playing with them. I hope to see more dolls with diversification and a positive way to have conversations about what makes us different and unique. This was a great way for us to have that conversation. “Why does she have leg braces,” asked my daughter. This, began educating my daughter on what Down Syndrome is. At the end she said, “so cool to have a doll like this.”

Can we get the male Down Syndrome doll?????
I love this. I got one of the dolls. For me. 😁 Can you guys now do a male version? I have a 9 year old Down Syndrome son. I’d have to get 2 (one for me and one for him) but us mamas with boys would love that.

Best barbie ever!
Thank you barbie for creating a Down syndrome doll. I’m a mother to a 6 year old boy with Down syndrome but I’m buying this doll for my 1 year old daughter (keeping it in box until she’s of age) so she can play with it. I cannot wait to tell my family and friends about this doll. Hope it’s your best selling doll yet!

Inclusion and AVAILABILITY is Key!!
Thank you Mattel for releasing this beautiful Barbie that also happens to have down syndrome. The cell out of this product should show what they need and want there is for a more inclusive branding. Please make many more of the Barbies with down syndrome as our community is trying to order them..

Representation Matters!!
So happy to finally see the lucky few represented. Great job Mattel!
Now, to address some of the concerns from other reviews, you should definitely make sure this doll is widely available -not only in quantity but in form (ie- other skin tones, other genders -a ken doll with down syndrome).
Overall, incredibly happy to see my 8 year old represented!

Down Syndrome Barbie!
Finally received her, and she is magnificent! Please consider making a Down Syndrome Ken, as not all DS people are girls :) and please make him quickly. We don’t want to wait years for more inclusion!
