Fastest tree alive... I am groot?
I've always like the groot character. This build is really nice. Been looking at MOCs on bricklink then this happened, lol. Got one for me and one for my GF. It is pricey, for what you get and there's so many stickers, omg! For the price, I'd have liked there to be no stickers. Not too much repetition l, but there are somewhat repetitive parts... The head is very heavy and there's limited mobility in the head. Regardless, the head is very detailed and the build techniques are similar to the Saturn V, but on a much smaller scale... Also wish there'd be a bit more side to side movement in the hip joints for the legs. The arms are fine, movement-wise. The knees down are good with movement as well. Because of the high center of gravity, the model is unstable, although it can be "balanced" into many positions. The cassette is a great side build, but it has 8 stickers... EIGHT! It's very detailed however... I recommend this if you're fan of guardians of the galaxy.

Great set
A great model, super great for a display. the build technique for the head it outstanding was fun o build, although the head is a little heavy and will rock when you move the Groot without specificallu piching the head, but the set stands up fine and can pose in plenty of cool baby groot like positions. a little on the pricey side, but reasonable considering how great of a model it is. It is life size to the actual baby groot, and so is the cassette tape. Overall, I reckon this set is a great but, and a must for marvel fans and collectors. it's a great model and a great addition to my collection

Looks great but is unstable.
Maybe I’m being a little bit harsh on the set because I had high expectations going into it, but l really feel that this set could have been better. The internet had a field day showing off Lego Groot getting into all sorts of mischief but I have no idea how some people pulled it off. This set is extremely unstable; the use of small ball joints makes the model look better but it’s so heavy that it can’t support its own weight; his head alone is too heavy to stay in place. If you pick it up by the torso it flops around like Woody from Toy Story. The pose on the box is not possible. My Groot has to sit because he’ll fall over within a few hours if I can get him to stand at all. Even then the feet make it difficult for him to sit! I had to remove the pieces that hold his legs in place at the hips so that he could sit down without falling backwards. The cassette tape is a cute build but sadly uses stickers. If you’re buying this to display you may want to reconsider. It looks great but what’s the point if it can’t be displayed properly?

Groot has some style!
Fun to see how Groot takes shape throughout the build.
My favorite part is the ability to pose and position Groot. Awesome for displays or having Groot pose with other Lego sets!

Fun Build
I had fun building this, it came together nicely. Some things were repetitive rather than reversed, like the feet, but the it is all a fun set, and I love the cassette!

Great end product
At first I thought this set was pricey for the amount of pieces that were included, but I thought since it was Marvel it was probably marked a bit higher. But I love baby Groot so I didn’t mind. However, I thought the end product was super cute and even better than expected. I also thought the cassette was a great addition to the set and was fun to build. From other reviews, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to position Groot the way he was shown on the box, but I was able to balance him on one leg by shifting the weight.

Cutest set in the galaxy
Loved building this set. Was pretty simple to do since the build on one side was duplicated on the other. He looks amazing displayed as well. I will say that he isn't as poseable as it seems. But again, he's pretty adorable!

I’ve been hoping for a Groot Lego set for awhile. I was so excited to find out he was coming and preordered him right away. The build was repetitive, but fun and went really quickly. He is fun to pose and just really cute!
