Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost perfect Every time I buy a new Kit, I proclaim it to be my favorite. And this one is no exception. It’s a little complicated to build but very satisfying. Definitely not for beginners. I really appreciate the engineering that went into designing this kit. My only complaint ( and one not worth deducting a star) is that the engine bay cover isn’t designed to open. I re-engineered the attachment mechanism so it can open and close to reveal the awesome motor. I attached a couple photos. I used some spare LEGO pieces. The lid supports swivel down when you want to close the engine cover. Don’t know how LEGO keeps getting better, but I’m excited to see what they come up with next.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed This was my third Lego Technic build (Bugatti, 911RSR) and by far the most difficult. Instructions were confusing and just too many pieces. I think they purposefully made it harder than it needed to be. Expect to make mistakes and need to have to go back and correct. Finished only to find the all wheel drive system doesn’t work. Within the instructions they should have tests to verify everything works at stages. As others have stated the colors aren’t uniform. If I could return for refund I would. Extremely disappointed, frustrated and upset. Should’ve let my little Lego masters (8 and 10) build it for me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing Build Experience and Frequent Delays Following a highly satisfactory build process with my first Technic creation, the Ferrari Daytona SP3, I held high hopes for reliving that experience with this particular set. However, my enthusiasm was dampened as I encountered multiple instances where the build had to be put on hold due to the need for replacement parts, resulting in a delay of over a month. Considering the abundance of simple manufacturing automation solutions available for ensuring 100% inspection, it is disappointing that customers like myself are still faced with the inconvenience of missing pieces, let alone encountering a total of five such omissions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cars keep getting Better (My Favorite so far) Been a lego fan for over 40 years and every time a new Technic car is released I swear they get better and better. The Bugatti was awesome, but the Lamborghini is by far my favorite. The Detail and contour of the front section and back are just ingenious. Absolutely love the way it looks. (Wish the Shades of green were consistent, but in plastics this happens..) Over all awesome car and fun build (Well more like a love hate build.. You're so anxious to see it all complete, but look at the pieces count and pages and then start asking yourself WHY?!?!?). When completed it is so worth it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Directions & Missing Parts I've built many Lego sets. The instructions/directions have always been "right on". For the Lamborghini I found them to be less detailed than past instructions. Also, when missing parts it takes way to long to receive them. 7 to 10 days is average. When you're building sets like the Taj Mahal and the Lamborghini you basically come to a stand still unless you can find the same part/color in a future box. Eventually you do have to stop and wait to the missing parts. For what these sets cost I would think they would speed up the delivery process. Currently I looking at purchasing the Roman Coliseum. I hope all the parts are included.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful experience I’ve never built any LEGO set, so this is my first experience. I wanted my first to be go big or go home! It was really fun and took me about 2 weeks to finish, since I only have a few hours of free time. I’ve always loved this car since I was 10yrs old so when I found out this set existed, I had to jump at the chance. Some of the instructions were frustrating, since I felt I followed them 100% but still wound up doing it wrong lol but this was probably my fault. All in all, this was fun and I’d do it again :) My biggest gripe is I can’t keep the doors open. It was probably something I did wrong but I wasn’t going to take apart the whole sides to figure it out. If you want something fun to do, and love Lamborghini, try it out!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Major problems with many missing bags When I first opened the box I had problems with the first step (this didn't seem right) and I looked up a unboxing and partial build with the first box you are supposed to open and in that video they had two bags of parts that I didn't see in my box so I looked in the 2nd box and took parts from there, but in the process I ended up getting stuck because I needed multiple small grey gears and 2 long axle connectors and I couldn't find them because I didn't have anymore, so I had to stop because I had no more... I've looked through all the other boxes and they all have the pieces they need, but I can't even get past the first box of parts for this amazing set. If anyone at Lego sees this please help me, I would love to finish this set with 100% certainty that it will have all the pieces in place. But it's very sad to only get 50 steps in and realize that you cannot finish because of poor quality control.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing I have Bugatti and Porsche as my main display pieces in my home and was hoping this would be the third one but - 1. The issue with different shades of green bricks makes the car look ugly. I see that Lego is responding saying the issue is more 'obvious' with bright green but that doesn't re solve the problem of car looking less than a perfect Lego model, does it ? What are my options ? Will Lego be resolving this issue and replacing the 'discolored' bricks? 2. There are quite a few issues with the instructions. The good: - I love the scissor doors ! - decently challenging build. - wasn't missing any pieces as many folks reported. - pre-printed bricks was certainly a plus in my opinion.
