Rated 4 out of 5 by from McLaren-stein End of the day I enjoyed the build and excited to have an F1 licensed Technic build. As a huge F1 fan there are a few things that are a bit odd due to timing of the release. It’s not quite the 2021 Mclaren and not quite the 22 either. Probably would have been more accurate if released next year so Lego knew what the new car looked like but obviously there was high demand now with the new car generation being released. Build itself was great but features are light. Would rather build a transmission than see the cylinders but sure that’s down to packaging in the car. Would recommend if you can get past the accuracy. Excited for more official formula 1 products to come

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great look and nice build. Very sleek and a nice build. One nice thing at least I had only 12 small leftover pieces which is nice for once. Usually have anywhere from 25-40 depending upon the item. Pieces fit fine except putting on I would call them the side View mirrors. Very tough for my fingers to get in place. Moves smooth once set up. The one thing I really detested about it though were the stickers. So many and you had to keep jumping between the two sheets of stickers.Took my time building only spending an hour a day. Took about 2 weeks. You will enjoy building it. And hope in the future that Lego will find a way to cut down on the stickers for a set like this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best LEGO set ever in my opinion I was so beyond excited when I saw McLaren F1 and LEGO teaming up to make this set, I stayed up release night just to assure I could get my hands on it and it was the best 8-10 hours I could have spent money on! Don’t hesitate if you’re a fan of F1, it was so fun and cool to get a deeper look into the technology of formula 1 albeit in LEGO form. I’m looking forward to hopefully more sets in conjunction with F1 in the future!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice and really huge model I’ve spent a lot of time to finally find it and bring from Germany to Moldova. Nice and clean instructions, but got some issues with this set. One of decals set was with air bubbles but not big deal because it looks ok when applied. Some details has different blue color (side details on the spoiler). I’ve seen in other comments it happens some times. And finally can’t set steering wheel straight when front wheels is straight too. But overall it is still great set. And it is really huge for this number of the details.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1st ever lego set - Now I collect Lego I am an avid F1 fan, and stumbled upon this set by accident. I decided to give it a go, despite never building a lego set before and the price. I must say that the instructions are really easy to follow, even for a novice like myself. Furthermore, I was exited and giggling like a chiled when building the engine and seeing the pistons move. Honestly, that feeling was special and from then (only 3 weeks ago) I have bought many lego sets. Definitely worth the time and money invested in this. I really hope to see other teams (maybe Mercedes, Ferrari, or Aston Martin with whom lego already has relationships with) cars as a collectible line! Buy it if you are an adult, no shame in having fun with Lego!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks great, not accurate. I was a bit skeptical of this set at first. I am a huge F1 fan and I was looking for some accuracy in a large model F1 car. The price is great for what you get. My problem with the car is that it's not a 2022 car but it's also not a 2021 car. It's a morph of 2 cars. I liked it more once I started building it and if you can appreciate it for what it is its a pretty cool display piece. I like it, just can't look too much into the details. Overall I'd recommend it as a cool lego F1 car.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice, but This set is puzzling, somewhere "in-between" everything. As others pointed out, there is a lot of detail missing, the dimensions don't really match with the original. It is a nice scale model with limitations, which is acceptable as long as th price tag stays within certain margins. But this is not a sophisticated Technic scale model, neither does the visual presence convince. The James Bond Aston Martin is bulky but full of the gadgets fans love. Sets like the Bugatti are expensive but so neatly designed. But this feels like halfway done, ended with a lot standard parts and a sticker festival. Next F1, make it bigger, accurate, a motor and remote control.
