Rated 5 out of 5 by from LEGO Porsche I’m not really in the the cars, but I bought the 007 Austin Martin and found it to be cool and very detailed. So, I had no plans on building the Bugatti, Porsche GT3 or others do to price. I saw this and thought it was well worth the cost and looks cool. This is by no means a small build and was well worth it. If you don’t want the huge cost of the Orange GT3 or the Bugatti buy this one instead it’s well worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What a pleasant surprise I bought this kit thinking it was really cool already, being a Porsche 911 fan, and I was still completely blown away. I couldn't stop building it, and the entire time, I kept stopping to marvel at the engineering that went into this. It is sturdy, heavy, and larger than I originally expected. I was so impressed, 100% must buy if you are on the line. The only thing I didn't enjoy was putting the stickers on because it's difficult to get them perfectly straight, but once I figured out a strategy, it wasn't that bad, but otherwise, so much fun and a great collector item, especially since these appear to be limited runs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An excellent addition to the Technic series For those looking for something smaller than the Porsche 911 GT3 RS, this set is for you. The color scheme that this set comes with looks really good and is a definite must have for collectors. The only drawback to this set in my opinion is the headlight pieces as they are a bit bulky in comparison to the rest of the vehicle, however, it is still a well thought out piece and looks good on display. It is worth noting that this set does come with quite a large amount of stickers. If you have trouble with stickers, you might need someone to help put them on. For example, the wing itself is a set of three stickers and they need to be aligned properly for the text to flow smoothly. In conclusion, it isn't surprising to see this set already on backorder. The price tag is definitely less expensive than the GT3 RS, but with that being said, the RSR is substantially smaller in size... and I would argue that to be a good thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Porsche 911 RSR Excellent Lego Technic model - technical elements of the car are handled with enough complexity to be educational whilst being just the right level of build challenge Looks great too ! Looking forward to more like this from Lego Had gone to Lego Store to buy Bugatti - but saw this and thought I would give it a try.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Technic Porsche 911 RSR At first I wasn't sure If I want this set because of it's size not being an 1:8 but I'm glad I purchased it. I had a great fun time building it. it's much less complex than the 911 gt3 and Bugatti but it looks as good as the other sets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Fun Build This was my first “big” technic set that I’ve built. The other one being the smaller blue McClaren. I’m recovering from a work injury which required surgery, so I started getting back into Legos as a way to pass time and we’ll as stay off my feet. I worked on this for about 3 days off and on. I had a blast building it. My only gripe was the bags were not numbered. Once I sorted the pieces out into Tupperware containers it was smooth sailing. Other than that, this is a great model for the price. I really want the Bugatti and the Lambo, but for the price, I’m gonna have to wait. I am truly enjoying my new hobby as much as I did as a kid growing up.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Get the GT3! Ok, so I knew that it wouldn't be as good as the GT3 but it really is nowhere near as good or solid. It doesn't have the drivetrain ... but then I don't really see the point of it anyway as you can't see it or make use of it! The biggest problems for me are that it just doesn't seem to be as well put together as the GT3 e.g. the doors are wobbly and don't stay closed. But the worst thing, especially when put side-by-side with the GT3, is the stupidly small wheels, they're ridiculously small (about 3/4 the size of the GT3 model even though the models are of a similar size) meaning there are large gaps in the wheel arch. Rather disappointed now that I've finished it. If you want a Lego Porsche, spend the extra and get the GT3.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Realistic 911 RSR I have built the Bugatti Chiron and Porsche GT3 RS. These models have tremendous detail in the engine and transmission bay and yet when the car is complete, the cool bits are hidden from view. There was effort in Porsche 911 RSR to maximize the aspects you can see. Always impressed that every one of the 1580 pieces supplied has a purpose and there is no excess or waste. Nice kit...Look forward to the next!
